2 Years ago when i got my puppy Capri and i knew nothing about dogs i would go into spock and elvis almost every day to get advice and they were so helpful and answered all my questions.
2 years laters later Capri and I go to Spock and Elvis on a regular bases

I have been taking my dog (multipoo) here for 4 years and I would not take him anywhere else! Spock and Elvis always does a fantastic job and are extremely friendly and professional. They are always finished quickly and never keep him longer then necessary. Highly recommended!

Besides having an excellent selection of high quality pet foods, treats, beds and toys this is one of the best ‘doggy daycare’/boarding facilities I’ve ever seen.
Brian and his friendly staff take excellent care of our dog on the occasions we have to board him. Although our ‘little guy’ was hesitant the first time we brought him in every time thereafter he raced in happily and was obviously very comfortable in the facility.
They have a ‘doggy rumpus room’ with videos, indoor/​outdoor carpeting, toys and a continual caregiver monitoring all activities.
They obviously care for the wellbeing of their ‘clients’ requiring a veterinarian clean ‘bill of health’ prior to accepting any dogs for boarding and making sure that all vaccinations are up to date.
I cannot recommend them more highly, if you every need to board your ‘furry child’ for a day or longer you cannot do better than Spock & Elvis

My dog is not a common breed and I tried a lot of groomers. Spock n Elvis really got it right. They are always very accommodating and my dog is always happy to see them which tells me that they really take care and treat her well during the grooming. Best groomer in the area. And I’ve tried a bunch.

Have tried other groomers in the past for my Portuguese Water Dogs but was not happy until I found Spock and Elvis. Noah goes in happily and relaxed and comes out with a beautiful cut and looking very handsome. I also pick up all my healthy treats for him in the store.

Love Spock & Elvis! We’ve been taking our Maltese there for years and have never been disappointed. Brian, Shannon and staff are very nice and have gone above and beyond to accommodate me with my request for a custom cut/​style for my dog. (A mohawk) I won’t take my dog anywhere else. They rock!

I have been bringing my dog here for grooming for the past two or three years, and couldn’t be happier with my decision to start bringing him here!!! Every single person that works here is so caring and nice, and I am always comfortable leaving Diesel there knowing he is in great hands. He always comes back looking (and smelling) great! Never been unsatisfied with the grooming.
This past weekend was the first time I used the boarding /​day care facilities at Spock & Elvis and am SO happy that I did!!! Brian took care of Diesel as if he was his own dog. He was amazing with special instructions & feeding of Diesel. When I picked him up I could tell that he was an extremely happy camper and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to leave my dog here! I will definitely bring him back the next time I go away. Thank you guys for everything!!!

I adopted a standard poodle last November, I bring him to get groomed once a month, I started with Spock & Elvis, he comes out looking incredible, I’m not big on having him look like a foo foo poodle, so they do a very masculine cut, he looks great and gets more compliments than u do. I think he likes it when we’re about to leave when the owner always gives him a treat!
PS, they also carry a very extensive collection of dog products and food!!!

I’ve been getting my 11lb Maltese groomed here for 8 years. I’ve been to other groomers, depending on where I was living over the years, and no one takes care of my coconut like Spock + Elvis does. Shannon knows exactly how to cut her hair just the way I like it and she is a sweet woman who treats the dogs nicely. She actually listens if I ask for her hair a little shorter/​longer, etc. Coconut is always a tad nervous going in and coming out, but at the end of the day, she looks so fresh and so clean. the owner, Brian, gives me a reminder call every 6 weeks which is SO cool and helpful. I enjoy bringing coconut downstairs and handing her over personally to Shannon. it gives the customer an opportunity to speak directly with the person grooming their dog and also for them to make a connection to the customer. thanks for all your hard work over the years. coconut is always the prettiest girl on the block!

Have been using Spock & Elvis’ with Shannon as the chief groomer for several years. Brian the owner has an upscale array of pet foods, accessories and other products. Shannon handles the grooming and I think she is great. I have a West Highland terrier and the breed takes some real skill to cut and groom properly. Shannon consistently does a great job.
I highly recommend Spock and Elvis if your looking for great grooming services or pet supplies.

They’re amazing with special instructions, special care, pet nutrition, and top notch quality at a very reasonable price. The hot oil treatment lasts several weeks and has completely eliminated any notions of dry skin on my dog. I also get the teeth treatment, it also has completely eliminated any bad breathe.
I have a cavalier King Charles Spaniel, which is perhaps one of the harder breeds to groom properly and the outcome is flawless! The cut is I unbelievable, I always get compliments from other King Charles owners.
The pet shop and the grooming services compliment each other. Quality pet treats, pet food, supplements, and toys (even offering the organic variety of it all).
I buy my dog beds there and the quality can’t be surpassed, when I first brought one home he refused to move away from it for 3 days.
My dog loves Spock and Elvis and he can’t get enough.

I thought I had posted a review for Spock and Elvis, some time ago and tried again, but realized I had posted a ‘Tip’, instead of a ‘Review’…so here is my review :
I’ve been taking Mimi to Spock & Elvis, since they first got their grooming license… Mimi just had her 7^th birthday and she looked beautiful, thanks to Shannon !!
The staff is great, they don’t keep the dog any longer than necessary, will call the day before appt. with reminder, and Brian will do a curbside drop-​off, if there’s no parking nearby !! We wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’m always happy with the results

they lied about my dog was matted and needed a more expensive hair cut. they do it just to increase the bill. I stopped taking my dogs there are now use a different groomer and my dogs are very happy. i felt my dog were traumatized when i usually pick them up from there.

Spock & Elvis has done a great job grooming our three dogs (2 Shih Tzus, 1 Morkie), and while they’re a little expensive, you get what you pay for. There’s a lot to look at in the boutique area to continue spoiling your furry friends. The staff is nice and they are fairly accommodating with scheduling your time. They can run a little long with grooming, but again, worth the time and the little friends feel great after!

I have a Shih Tzu and they snipped her neck while grooming her. My dog was so fearful and was in such pain, I was horrified when I got home. Not only did they not apologize but when I went back to the store asking questions, they were rude and denied the whole incident. Let you be warned.

To start, my dog DOES look very good in her new haircut but, I will NOT be returning.
My well-​taken care of, daily brushed dog was due for a haircut. While she is a longer haired dog (poodle mix), she was certainly not what any groomer I’ve ever been to would consider «very matted». The groomer informed me upon entering that my dog was «very matted» and might be charged extra de-​matting fees. This reminded me that the last time I went, they had also mentioned a small de-​mat fee but they had waived it since it was my «first time» (I have never in my life experienced such fees and my dog is always in similar shape when I take her to get groomed). Might I mention, the time prior they also charged me more in general than they had quoted me over the phone, saying «we only give a price range over the phone, not an exact price» (FALSE…).
Well, immediately, I told her that i disagreed with her and that she is simply a «furry dog», she was not really so matted as she was claiming. Her argument was that a comb wouldn’t go straight through her hair… an unfair argument because what animal/​human with longer hair can have a comb go all the way through with no resistance? Afterall, she was there for a haircut! I sensed she was trying to charge me as much as possible.
Before pick up, I was notified it would be 100 $ cash for the groom which included a $ 30 de-​matt fee! I can’t even imagine how much she would try to charge a dog-​owner that had a «real» matted dog. When I tried to speak to her telling her I have never heard of such an absurd fee, her response was «I showed you before» (and I told her that I STILL didn’t think she was «very matted» whatsoever), and «this is the way we do it here». She was argumentative and continued to repeat herself without listening, saying that «This is the way they do it» and «maybe no place has ever charged me because I didn’t wait the same amount of time to get groomed» — FALSE again. I always wait the same period of time before getting my poodle-​mix groomed. She is a longer hair, fluffy dog and we like her hair like this, not super short.
After arguing back and forth (extremely unprofessional), I told her that I would not be returning and instead of trying to make a customer happy, she stormed off.
There are MANY quality groomers in the area, none of which charge every customer who walks in the door additional fees for a standard amount of de-​matting that should be included with a haircut. (I understand, a very very matted dog is harder to work with any might incur some small additional fee). If Spock and Elvis wants to be an $ 100 groomer then that is fine, but they should raise their prices instead of tricking customers into thinking they’re getting a deal, only to overcharge everyone once they are already there.
I do not recommend this place as I do not do business with argumentative businesses who are not honest about pricing!

I took my 5 month old beautiful shih tzu for his first grooming and was beyond HORRIFIED!
I explained to the groomer Shanon exactly what I wanted but she failed to listen and wouldnt even let me speak! I asked for an inch off his body and clearly said not to touch the top of his head but due to her ignorance she CUT him the way she wanted.
The hair on top of his head is choppy and his ears look ridiculous and in addition, he practically looks shaved on his body! My shih tzu was beautiful and fluffy and now he looks awful! Dont take your dog to this store the groomer is RUDE and IGNORANT and she happens to also be the owner.
I called the next day to explain to her how upset our family was and instead of being sensitive and apologetic, she was obnoxious, careless, and rude. Nobody should EVER take their puppy to such a cold person! NO NO NO!!!
I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS!

We have been bringing our fluffy bundle of joy here for over a year now and never once did we encounter a bad haircut. The owners Norio and Shannon are professional and friendly who will cater to your needs and wants and will take good care of your dogs needs. They also have a good assortment of accessories to choose from. I’d recommend their services for any dog.

I have been very nervous in finding a groomer for my terrier mix. He had a bad experience with another groomer and has shown aggressive behavior towards any kind of grooming since. Shannon (with 12 yrs experience) sat with me and Dexter beforehand and really made me feel like he was in great hands. When I left him he was very nervous and when I picked him up he looked great and was acting as if he had the best day ever.
This was an absolutely pleasant experience and they did SUCH a great job. We will be back over and over again.

Brought my doggie in to get her groomed this weekend. Cute store with lots of delicious looking treats and cute toys. The staff was great, calling me to remind me of the appointment, prompt in getting the grooming started, finishing the job in less than their estimated time. They treated my dog very nicely (she’s old and cranky, 16!) and gave her some peanut butter cookie treats afterwards.
Because my dog has tons of knots, they had to shave her. I was worried that she would look bad but turns out, it took years off her — she looked like a puppy! The shave was very even, they did a nice job trimming her ears and face. Her paws were shaped well and they clipped her nails without cutting her!
Terrific job!
