Possibly the worst place to get your hair done. Not only are they rude and over priced but they absolutely don’t listen to what you want. The owner Faina will cut your hair as she sees fit and while she does it she will tell you of your other flaws that should be fixed at her salon. Not a good place to go it’s a wate of money and time

I would give 0 stars if possible. On Friday my friend called and made appointments for a blow out for her and a trim and blow dry for myself. When she made the appointment she was clear there would be two of us. The lady said no problem and the appointment was set. When we walked in she could not have seemed more annoyed we were even there.
She looked up at us and said she was running a little late. When I asked how late she said 30 min. However there was someone sitting there with color in her hair and she was currently washing someone else’s hair. I asked if she was the only one there, and she said «Yes, I sent them all home» with the biggest attitude. While this discussion was happening my friend stepped to the side just to look at the nail spot and the lady literally gave her the dirtiest look.
**Main kicker– when my friend turned back around by me at the counter the lady said «is waiting a problem» being honest we deliberated with each other and said «kind of». She said «Well there are plenty of other hair salons» and went back to her work making it clear we should just leave.
I couldn’t believe how rude she was! We didn’t just show up, we had appointments! And she basically told us too bad. It was 6 on a Friday which we were told was the only time she could do it, and now every other place was closing and neither of us had done our hair before our plans.
Worst staff ever!

Bought the groupon for the hair cut, single-​process color and blow dry. I arrived and was seen immediately. After my groupon was already redeemed I was told that single-​process color is in regards to root touch up. I was able to get a full dye job for an additional $ 25. Natasha did a great job dying, cut and styling my hair. The lack of communication between the manager and her stylists is very evident but does not effect Natasha’s wonderful work. Street parking is available but limited so give yourself extra time– also my appointment took about 1 hr and 30 mins and I didn’t wait to be seated so leave yourself extra time for that as well.
Overall– good experience just be clear as to what you want and ask exactly what you are getting from the groupon.

Bought the groupon (3 maincure and pedi) — they only take appointments on Friday due to lacking staff, didn’t know about that as this is not stated on the grpon)… She was on the phone during most of the treatment. Not professional. But the thing that disappointed me was that the nail polish that they use. I had the Medicure done at 6:45pm. But the nail polish came right out (3 out of 10 fingers) at 9pm on the same day !!!
I tried the second time, they changed the base coat … Now it stayed more than 10 days. But when I removed my nail polish, my nails were yellow and cracked !!!
Would not bother to use my third one.

This place is horrible the owner is so unprofessional stay away… all the above reviews are just 110 percent true. went there for a full head high lite she started same shit that how my color is bad and she can make it right .but I knew her gimmick I said I can’t afford it and I don’t want too after 15 min telling me I give you a good price and all I kept saying no .then she put the high lite on in the middle she goes to do something els, then finally when she is done I sat with the high lite for an hour and a half kept asking the girls where is she this is too long .they kept calling her and she would yell no is ok. I finally said to one of the girls I want to wash my hair my scalp, is burning .the lady who washes the hair felt so bad for me, she said I have to wait for her to tell me I said where the hell is she she can’t leave her customer like this wash now! I don’t
high lite were gray and white absolutely horrible and she kept saying oh it’s beautiful. i just ran out of there I was crying for a whole week and couldn’t do anything about it my hair is so damage due to bleach on my hair for almost 2 hours.
Please stop ruining people’s hair !

I bought the groupon and saw the owner yesterday. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted. It was still a bit too short, but the shape was already in place. I just wanted a trim to clean up the ends and a single process to touch up my roots. She said baliage would brighten it up. I agreed. She was encouragung and very sure of herself. She said she knew exactly what to do and I could relax. The process left me with several different shades of a very pale «apricot blond.» VERY APRICOT.
Today im back to have the orange color toned and to even out the cut which is already way too short and not even close to the picture I showed her. The staff has been friendly and accommodating but when you give a professional a road map to follow, you expect a certain result.
Unfortunately attempting to «correct» the problem left me with patchy orange at the roots and a greyish tinge on the ends. The stylist did not see this and kept insisting it was simply not to my liking and she could fix it. The cut was uneven and matronly. I opted to leave rather then continue to try to explain what was wrong.
Several hours and nearly $ 150 later, I had a short funky brown bob courtesy of maximus (Review to follow). All she could do was tone it with a warmer color to make it more believable. They assure me the color will fade because my hair is so over processed and damaged. It will be a few months of corrective color before I can get back to normal.
All in all, this groupon cost $ 230. In the future, ill use groupon only for exercise and restaurants.

This salon is absolutely horrible. The woman who owns it was doing my hair for a single process and cut. I came in 5 minutes late and she told me I could not have my single process anymore because I was late, even though I was her last customer. She then proceeded to cut my hair. She didn’t ask me how I wanted it cut, she just began cutting and talking to the hairstylist next to her (in a very unprofessional manner) I interrupted her and let her know how I wanted it cut, she just shrugged me off and I WAS SO UPSET WITH THE RESULT OF MY HAIRCUT. This woman is selfish, cannot listen, and unprofessional. BEWARE

I bought the groupon (3 manicures and pedicures for $ 39) I later checked the place out on Unilocal to find pretty awful reviews. I scheduled an appointment which was difficult because they only have one manicurist. Great neck can be pretty busy with lack of parking so you definitely need to head over to the salon early. The area is adorable and there are many salons in the area. In fact there was one right next door. The atmosphere was happy and fun. The salon is nice with friendly staff. I had an older woman doing my nails. There was not a wide selection of nail polishes. She was a little slow. Kind of unprofessional. They take you downstairs for the pedicure.

BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY!!! The salon is beautiful but just about empty on the two Saturdays that I was there, and the owner is very deceptive and full of sh**. My story: I discovered this place as I walked around Great Neck looking for a place to get a manicure on last Saturday afternoon; I stopped in and the place was beautiful, very clean, and the manicurist was available so I had a manicure and as I was having my manicure, I was speaking to the owner who assured me if I try her color services that I would be happy, etc etc. We discussed my hair and her price to do my base color $ 54 and a FULL head of highlihts, so she said, «I’ll do it for you for $ 150.00 for everything. Reasonable price, right? After my manicure was finished and I finalized making my hair appt. WITH THE OWNER, for today, I requested an appt for the manicurist to also do a manicure/​pedicure on the day of my hair appt. (today) and she told me that she would not be in on Saturday (today) because she doesn’t work every Saturday, then they told me to call to see if she’d be in because sometimes she works on Saturdays. I said ok and I left, but I didn’t bother following up for the mani/​pedi appt. Well, when I showed up this morning for my appt., I saw the same manicurist working on someone’s HAIR COLOR!!! I proceeded to speak to the owner about what color I want for my base, etc. and she told me that I don’t need a FULL head of highlights so she was going to do only a partial, so I asked how much the price would be and she said, «don’t worry about it. …she said, «just leave it to me»… Then, she went to mix the color while the girls situated me and the next thing I know, the MANICURIST took the color that the owner mixed and she was about start putting the color on… I said, WAIT!!! and I said, I’m sorry but I made the appt for the owner to do my color… so she called the owner over and the owner started to tell me, «If I put the color on, it will cost $ 70, NOT $ 54!!!» So we got into a heated discussion and after going back and forth, I asked who was going to do my highlights. So the owner said, «I will»…Then I asked how much is this going to cost if I let the manicurist put the base color on… so she said the highlights will be $ 110!!! So, now she downgraded to a partial head of highlights with the manicurist doing my base color, for a total of $ 164!!! That’s $ 14 more than she told me the previous week for HER (the owner) to do a FULL HEAD of highlights with my base color for $ 150!!! I was AMAZED AND ANGRY!!! So, we argued back and forth for a while, and the owner told me, «you must have misunderstood… I told her that I did not misunderstand anything because I made my appt with the assumption that the manicurist wasn’t even going to be in today!!! And I asked her, how could I have misunderstood when you told me the manicurist wasn’t going to be here today???» So, she told me «I have other girls»…The only other girls that I saw there were the assistants that shampoo, and they brought me my cappucino and my mini muffin and one of them hung my coat for me… And then she told me, «You don’t know how we work here», to which I replied, «And I’m not going to find out because I have a bad vibe and I’m outta here!!». Not only did she let me walk out without having my hair done and stand by her original commitment with price, etc. but SHE WASN’T EVEN BUSY and she would not honor what she told me the previous week (base for $ 54)…There was only ONE other client in a chair at 10:30 on a Saturday morning (red flag!)… So, I went to Macy’s to shop, and I was venting to a cashier in Macy’s and she told me she went there once and they did a TERRIBLE JOB on HER!!! She said both the haircut and the color job were both terrible… then as I continued to tell her the whole story… another customer overheard and said her friend also had a very bad experience there!!! THANK G-​d! I walked out of that salon!!! They do say, everything happens for a reason!!!
UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER’S LIES: She feels its necessary to defend herself and add insult to insult to injury with LIES ON TOP OF LIES! Nothing in my original story is untrue!!! I know what price she originally gave me before I made the appointment, and she did not have to ask me to leave… I LEFT ON MY OWN! I may be blonde but I know a red flag when I see it!!!
