Our menu is extensive and full of the flavors of Alsace and traditional French cuisine. History

Established in 1954.

L’Auberge Chez Francois is a traditional French restaurant, family owned and run. It was one of the first French restaurants in the Washington, DC area and is celebrating 60 years of service. The restaurant is decorated with family heirlooms and lots of history. The cuisine at L’Auberge Chez Francois includes popular French classics and regional adaptations to American cuisine.

Business Owner

Jacques Haeringer is the executive chef at L’Auberge Chez Francois. As the son of Monsieur Francois, Jacques has been around the kitchen and restaurant since the age of four. He spent time in France as a chef’s apprentice and also learned under the watchful eye of his father. Jacques Haeringer is an acclaimed food personality who captures the flavors of Alsace in the heart of Great Falls, VA.
