Open 24 hours in this town? Check. Great prices on gas? Check. A dizzying array of snacks that you didn’t even know you wanted, but suddenly feel compelled to stuff your face with? Check. But the REAL draw to this Cumberland Farms? Lean in, so I can whisper it to you(no need to start a stampede to the CF): Luis, the man at the register who is often there on the weekday mornings. He loves his job and cares about his customers, this is obvious. On my first adventure of trying to make tea(99 cents, all sizes, for tea and coffee) I was looking confused: first, the array of teabags, then the cups, and then I was thinking«OMG, where is the hot water!!!» because all I could see were the 10 flavors or so of coffee. Luis to the rescue, pointed out the water, milk options(yay, skim milk!) and then the massive table for condiments. Go in, see Luis, and be sure to say hello and THANKYOU; no need to be grouchy to him!
