My little Grayson has grown up and it has a full-fledged liquor store!!! Whoop whoop!!! Awesome. What a befitting liquor store for a community of great people. The Beverage Superstore is a large liquor store that stocks anything from $ 7.00 Svedka vodka to a $ 499.99 cognac. I think they hit the niche here and focused more on liquor and premium wines than sticking a lot of beer, especially since you can buy beer at any grocery store. The customer service is why I gave this place 4 stars. All of the employees are true connoisseurs and know Spirits! They made some amazing recommendations and I appreciate their enthusiasm and love for our craft(yes, I just compared being a rot-gut drunk to a artist… true beverage junkies know where I’m coming from). Thank goodness Unilocal has directions, otherwise I would have no idea how to get back out here(take a left turn at the old hickory stick type of directions) but I will make a trip back out to this store next time I’m in gwinnett and I need a beverage. I am also recommending this place to my friends and family who live close by.

The stars aligned perfectly when this building broke ground. Living in the suburbs is great; we have less traffic(sometimes), nicer neighborhoods, good neighbors, and finally a top notch liquor store. The location is perfect no matter the way you come in on 20 to get to it. Plenty of parking on every side of the store. The interior is well stocked with liquors, wines, and beer. I think as time passes it would be smart to expand the beer offerings in the case. Similar to their counter part in Suwanee, a wine tasting or even beer tastings through out the year would be a great crowd pleaser. Each time I am in there, which is at least weekly, the staff is always so nice and quick with their transactions. Is it possible for them to come out with a loyalty card like grocery stores and drug stores do. Great job Beverage Superstore. Glad you are in the neighborhood!

I used to have to drive to Youth, Winder or Suwanee to see this kind of beer selection. When they broke ground in Grayson, I was ready. And ever since they opened, it has been my favorite microbrew selection for twenty miles in any direction — and would be even if it was not the closest one to my home. They haven’t gone in for the massive shelves of truly rare brews that many stores sometimes carry, but there’s a better than average variety of small brewers with several styles from each, and always something new that’s worth a try. There’s also a lot of wines and all the liquor you need for a well-stocked bar at home. Brian was a big help when planning a summer party this year(100 guests drink a lot of beer, you know). The prices are competitive with the grocery stores — even after being open for nearly a year. And the store itself is clean, brightly lit and always well-staffed. It’s nice to see them doing well. (If only they had a tasting room! It was rumored when they opened that one was in the works, but with licensing and permits and such… ah, well. One can hope it will happen soon.)

«Grayson has a liquor store!» The fervor in Mom’s voice rivaled that of a Catholic mom announcing a visit by the Pope. When we neared within 10-miles of my hometown, Mom was reminded of this great 2012 development that I had missed, and with her enthusiasm, we couldn’t resist a visit. When I lived in Grayson, you couldn’t buy alcohol on Sunday, so having an entire stand alone building dedicated to the consumption of booze is quite revolutionary. As liquor stores go, I would say it does not break the mold of your average establishment. There are concrete floors, gray walls, fluorescent lighting and security; it’s not fancy or comfortable. However, you’re not going for the atmosphere. What counts: inventory and pricing. I would say that inventory is average for every spirit. I can’t say that they specialize in any one thing, but you will find a good sampling of everything. For the most part, prices seem reasonable. The majority of items were cheaper than Vegas prices, which was good enough for us! We grabbed a bottle of Four Roses, and Mom opted for Skinny Girl Cosmos. And with that, we were off to a good start for some Christmas cheers!
