D’s Dust Bunnies Inc

Denise talks a good game but their standards are far from par. Her crew lies about doing work and spends too much time on their phones, esp Melissa, she is the liar A «team leader» she is far from a leader. In fact she did not care for the way I spoke to her and her partner-I’ll admit I was very abrupt and rude as I was very displeased with the quality of their work, rather lack of quality; I should not have to re vacuum, wipe down kitchen table. I had to go over almost everything they did, with the exception of the bathroom. I kicked them out and refused to pay. The «deep clean» is a joke. Their standards are a not even close to any service I’ve ever used.
Yes, this is a hard job– I did this while I put myself through nursing school. I used them 3 times and did NOT receive the $ 15.00 discount off 1^st visit. Two weeks ago was the last time I used this pitiful excuse for a cleaning service. I was going to fire them but I thought maybe this was an exception. So I was expecting them today and called to confirm-​Denise called back and asked if the manager had called to speak with me, I never received a phone call. She then stated that the girls had talked and refused to return.
I would have apologized had they come back– I was very rude. I have a problem with sloppy work! Clean is when you wipe a surface and your cloth does not turn brown as it did when I re-​wiped my kitchen table and chairs
Clearly Denise hasn’t the first clue on how to run her business, there is no follow up.
Perhaps she should stop hiring lazy brats and hire grown ups!
I suppose I should feel lucky as she did not call police-​wish I had read review from Jason A-​we had a similar experience. I would recommend Higher Standards from Mundelein, they’re a bit slow but the quality is top notch!
IF I COULD RATE ZERO STARS I WOULD They are worst service I have ever used and over priced for what they did here

We have used Dust Bunnies Cleaning Service for over 8 years and couldn’t be happier with the service they do. When we moved from Illinois to Wisconsin we tried a few other services that couldn’t even come close to the service and flexibility we had received from Dust Bunnies. It was a relief than when Denise told us she was expanding to Wisconsin because by that time we had gone through 3 other services in a year.
In all the time we have used this service we had only one problem with scheduling which was my fault for forgetting they were coming. Every team they have sent to us has been clean, professional and meticulous. I am a very picky person, I admit it, but I have never had a reason to complain about the job Dust Bunnies Cleaning Services has done for me.

Me and my wife recently had a few bad encounters with cleaning company’s, we finally came across D’s DustBunnies which we thought at the time was great.
However today was the last day we will ever use this company, they cancelled this morning, then called and said they could make it out, great I thought and my wife told them to come on by. When they arrived they smelled of cigarettes, not just a little I mean every room I walked into it smelled as if they just smoked in that room.
I personally went in the other day to schedule the services and all was well, I did mention that they did not clean under the sofas, she said that would be taken care of and it was not, they left the powder room floor dirty with toilet paper still on the floor, they left the bed unmade, my fridge was suppose to be cleaned and it was not, bathtub was left with disgusting degree, they actually cleaned around the small items I had on the kitchen counter, how bad is that!
Anyhow, after all was said and done I refused to pay and told the lead cleaner to have Denise call me, I did speak with Denise and after a long drawn out BS conversation she informed me that she’ll call the cops, sure enough the cops did show up and said that we better pay or it’s theft of services.
Hmmm. Isn’t it theft on both ends. This Officer made me and my wife feel like scumbags, not cool. And not only that, they did not clean our home properly. How is this fair.
By the way, the cop that came told me I should have specified to have non smoker cleaning people when I schedule… Am I crazy. but do people really have to do this.
I hope I’m not, anyways we paid the money or we were supposedly going to be taken to jail. $ 104 for something my 3 year old son could have probably done better.
I’m so frustrated with this service and to anyone using them be sure to stay and watch them clean at least once, it’s a joke.
