A nice store since Pathmark moved out. They are well-stocked and it seems a lot cleaner! The people at the customer service desk(I think her name is Liz.) and pharmacy are really helpful and nice. You can ask just about any question relating to health at the pharmacy and they know the answer! I needed some help two minutes before the customer service closed and Liz was very willing to help me. I’m sorry but I have to take off two stars for the cashiers. Where will I find a store where the cashiers are friendly and smile and at least pretend they enjoy their job?! I always feel like I’m doing something wrong when I get to the checkout!

I thought Stop & Shop would be 5x better than the Path Mart that used to be here, but evidently some things don’t change. There weren’t any renovations done to the space and there’s still a lot of parking spots available. The layout is just about the same as Path Mart and aisles. The only things that really changed were the products, the prices, the branding/marketing of products & bags, and probably the staff. There’s only 2 self checkouts which I thought was absurd. Day or night, the staff here aren’t very friendly or helpful. I find them kind of rude and careless. The prices here aren’t outrageously expensive, definitely cheaper than some of the supermarkets or local grocery stores on 86th street. I only like to come here once in a blue moon, simply because if I need something ASAP that isn’t available on 86th street — but if I had to do a weekly shopping here I wouldn’t. Lines are crazy and employees don’t help the situation.

I thought things would be different. A brand new super market opening up on a former super market. How silly of me. Sure they’re gonna have everything you want but the honeymoon of grocery shopping bliss is soon hit with the sobering reality that there are only 3 registers open with 45 cart-filled customers waiting on line. Your mind falls asleep as you program your eyes to react when movement is spotted to progress 2 more inches. Times like these makes me wish they pump the employees with crack cocaine, giving them that rush to get the line moving. But from observation, I’ve seen faster reactions from methadone patients trying to pick up a cigarette they dropped 45 min ago in their perpetual bending down state. They’re not gonna change. You will have to do the work here. Befriend them, mate with their women and find out their schedule. Once I was done, 2 more cashiers opened up.

If there was no stars. I would have deff chose that. The worst experience ever! The workers there are beyond clueless as to what is going on. I hope they close down. They are all rude and nasty. Do not shop here. Plus the prices are outrageous. Stay away from this shit hole!!!
