Spring Hill Manor Rehabilitation And Convalescent Hospital

Recently had a family member here-​NOT my recommendation if your loved one needs rehab. To reach patients, there are NO phones in the rooms-​you must call the desk & have 1 of 2 cell phones then taken (if available) to the person you call. PT & OT were pretty good with their care, but progress was overly slow. MD visits lasted less than a minute to evaluate the patients. Staff seemed friendly but I had to advocate for what needed to be done, nothing was offered & calls weren’t made to family members when requested. There were multiple release dates set & changed at the last minute for whatever reason. Food amounts and quality could have been better. There were Medicare billing errors so that treatments/​equipment wasn’t covered because of the errors that then had to be fixed. When my family member finally left, the oxygen ordered didn’t arrive at his home for several hours. If all of this happens to just one person, then just imagine what happens to the other patients. This place seems out for the money, not the patients. I do not recommend sending anyone there.
