Elite Heating and Cooling

For a few weeks I’d been smelling propane near my forced air unit in my garage. Unable to find the leak myself, I called Extreme based on reviews. They squeezed me in and were able to take a look the next day. Ben came out, quickly found the leak, fixed it and was on his way. Efficient, punctual and no upsell of any kind. I will be calling them for any future needs and routine service. Thanks again.

I have never left a Unilocal review, but these guys warrant the attention. They were an all around outstanding company to work with. Not only would I recommend them locally, but in outlying areas as well. They were thorough, clean, efficient and fair. They did an excellent job installing our heating system in TRUCKEE. Just had my central heating and air unit replaced by Elite Heating and Cooling. They did a great job and the price was reasonable. I did get 3 quotes and was happy with their price. Ryan is very professional and the service techs were great. They showed up on time and completed the job same day just like Ryan said they would. They installed a quality unit. We recently moved to Grass Valley and didn’t know who to call for some HVAC installation we needed. The only thing I had to go on was that Elite was a Diamond Dealer for Mitsubishi mini-​split systems so I ended up choosing them for our work.
We wanted a HVAC zone control system for our two-​story house and a Mitsubishi Mr. Slim minisplit for a studio apt above the garage. Dave and Kevin came out to do the jobs and in two days they had everything working as it should. Even with having to add new ductwork for a new register outlet, getting a new thermostat to an upstairs hallway, and removing an old AC unit from a wall in the studio, nothing was a problem for these guys. They were clean, courteous, and very knowledgeable about how to get the job done right. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat.

I hired Elite to install a ductless minisplit AC/​Heater unit at my house, and the crew did a fantastic job. They finished in one day as promised, and did a superb cleanup job afterwards — you wouldn’t even know a crew had showed up! An example — They had to take down some sheetrock that I had just put in my basement (they needed to work behind the walls) They not only took it all down themselves, but they re-​installed the panels afterwards. Thats a hard job in itself, so I was definitely impressed. I was also relieved — there was no work needed on my part, and no damage to the sheetrock either.
The crew is meticulous & have an amazing attention to detail as well, they even painted the screw heads to match the color of my house, so you wouldn’t notice them!
