This place is so cool. The owner has such a good eye and her stuff is so amazingly re-purposed. The art work is great too. I encourage people to take a drive to Chicago Park.

Amazing art made out of ordinary junk. The artist is very talented and the gal that runs the shop is a doll. Love love love this place and will be back again

What a lovely find! ELEGANTSALVAGE is hands down the most charming store of its kind in the county. Hand-painted furniture, rural-chic objects d’art, linens, stationery — and everything in the store is gorgeous, witty and sophisticated. No corny-touristy-kitch here — it really IS elegant! Antiques, immaculately repurposed furniture, decorative items and cool gifts have all been collected with an eye for beauty and style. The handmade greeting cards are as beautiful as anything I’ve seen in New York or Beverly Hills. The vivacious owner Jeri will greet you warmly, and you’ll be delighted by what you find. The pricing is fair. Nestled in the orchard and farm country just east of Grass Valley, in Chicago Park at the intersection of Hwy. 174, and Mount Olive/Powerline. Turn north at the Chicago Park store, and up the rise, beyond the post office, is ELEGANTSALVAGE. Open Thursday — Saturday 10 – 6, Sunday 10 – 3.
