The only reason I have put any stars is because you have to. The people that work at the dmv are completely incompetent and don’t seem to fully understand their jobs, multiple times i have been told different things by different people at this dmv for one problem. Also every time I go in the wait time is 2 to 3 hours. AVOIDTHISDMVATALLCOST.

My husband and I went here for the first time a couple of days ago. It is truly an awful place. We are from out of state and are used to being treated with courtesy. While people are pouring in, the staff are nonchalantly sitting at their desk doing nothing, talking to a coworker, or disappearing into a back room for long periods. Still more people poured in. We waited for two and a half hours. When we asked the woman at the front desk why we had waited so long, she said, «Your turn will come!»(really nasty). Finally our issue was addressed… and interestingly we got the supervisor. I asked why we had to wait so long and with smile that could melt metal she said through her clenched teeth, «That’s the way it is here.» Nobody cares. There is not an ounce of accountability… and imagine… we are paying their salaries. What they need to realize is that it costs nothing to be gracious.

I wish it were possible to give zero stars. This place and the people who work here are absolutely abysmal. Everyone troll working here should be embarrassed about the level of service they provide. If you make an appointment, you will still sit and wait for two hours. If you show up any amount of time late for a road test, even just a few minutes, they will shuffle you back two weeks. They just don’t care at all about your situation. This place is an embarrassment to the state of California. The DMV and the sad people who work here are a sore reminder of just how awful the state and local governments administer their«services.» You try to follow the law and live your life and hell holes like this make it almost impossible to do so. Everyone who works at this place should be freaking embarrassed. They are pathetic people who could care less about your situation but will all too gladly take tax revenue from the citizens of the state to do their brain dead jobs. You can bet they all get fat pensions too. Any business on the planet that runs out of money would shutter its doors. But not the DMV. They get all their funding weather you like it or not, so why would they care about providing you with good service? I just cannot express enough frustration or anger to make my point. This crap hole is everything wrong with government administered services and the people that work here are pathetic, brain dead idiots who could care less about your needs. The sad thing is that we all have to use this service, and we have no way to find better alternatives. This is what happens when you grant the government a monopoly on a service. This DMV and all the people who work here are a joke. These people will treat you like you are bothering them; glassy eyed idiots just waiting to bleed the state dry with their fat pensions. The people here are just as low caliber as it gets and thats why they all sit on their butts all day at the dmv instead of doing something productive for society.

I mean, it IS the DMV. My advice is to make an appointment. Or you can show up at 7am and wait out front to be there first in line when they open at 8am. Once inside, you will get the usual DMV rigmarole of you being brainless in their eyes and being an overall nuisance to them. You know how it is.
