Ajay’s Montana Banana’s is hands down the best beef jerky I have ever had. It even beats mom’s homemade recipe(sorry, mom). I’ve tried just about every type of beef jerky I have run across my 40+ years on this earth. The brands you find in most gas stations and convenience stores tend to be soft and too moist for my liking(if that makes sense). Too often, so called«gourmet» beef jerky is just salty without flavor or if they try too hard to be organic… it’s just without flavor. Ajay’s is perfect. Everyone to whom I have introduced Ajay’s has become a fan. The girlfriend is a consultant for large software implementations, meaning she spends her weekends in a team room with a bunch of other IT people. I introduced Ajay’s to her and she bought two boxes for the team room. Talk about an instant hit! Beef jerky is officially a productivity contributor. Without it, all the problem solving slows to a crawl! Thanks Ajay for making a great product. Please keep up! All the best!

Best beef jerky out there… hands down. or hands up! My coworker got a dozen and brought some to work for us to all share. I had some bits and pieces and fell in love with Ajay’s Montana Bananas beef jerky. If you’re not from Grass Valley, CA., do yourself a favor and go online to their website. Buy a dozen(any flavor, mix and match), you get the 13th bag free. All that for about $ 7 a bag. Not bad for great tasting beef jerky. It’s a little more when you buy from Hawaii(mainland US is about $ 7 with the 13th bag free). My favorite is the original peppered. You can’t go wrong. You actually taste the beef and not the preservatives you find with the commercial beef jerky you can buy at your local market. The jerky isn’t too tough as well. No one buys soft jerky, no likes the super tough jerky(Alien Jerky) either. Beefeaters will be happy! I am! BTW… quick shipping as well. I think you can buy individual bags at Bevmo… that’s what my coworker did the first time.

This is among my favorite beef jerky brands. Every time I stop by a Bevmo or Total Wines, I get some of this jerky. The thin sliced extra hot is the bomb.

The best beef sticks ever. Period. The only place I’ve found them is at the Natomas BevMo in Sacramento and I pick up a couple of packs whenever I go in. Finally decided to buy them online(minimum purchase is 12 packs and you can mix match different flavors, beef jerky and beef sticks, etc.) but you get what they call the«Smokers Dozen» which is 13 packs for the price of 12. Free shipping, no tax. $ 96 bucks for some of the best preserved beef you will ever eat. Try it.

There are no banana’s here nor is Ajay is from Montana. However his recipes for beef snacks are from a Montana butcher back in the 70s. Being a country singer songwriter from back in the day supposedly this butcher shop was an inspiration when he was on tour. Well he loves the beef snacks and so do I. Got to try the teriyaki version of his smokehouse jerky and it’s pretty tasty. As a big time pepperoni fan I need to get my hands on those snack sticks. Here’s to crazy guys who take multi left turns to do what they love.
