Wheat Lumber Company

Their website must be some sort of form-​filled lumber website from a template because it said they carried hardwood (and had a photo of it on the website) and did not have their hours post on there (they are on Google though). When I walked in there were no signs as to what anything was (office, etc.) so I walked in the barn area where the lumber is held (as I normally do at my normal lumberyard Barney Robinson’s in Fort Worth) to find a couple of guys sitting around chatting. I walked up and asked the location of the hardwoods, they looked at each other and asked if I wanted plywood. I said no I was looking for hardwood lumber, they eventually told me I had to order it from the office (that was not marked as such) and snickered as I exited. If you are not a contractor buying bulk building materials go elsewhere. After that experience I wouldn’t buy from them if they were the cheapest lumber yard in town.
