History

Established in 2012.

It all started when a small team led by Austin Allergist, Dr. Chris Thompson, wanted to address the needs of the many who suffer from allergies and simply don’t have the time to come in to an office to get their allergy shot each week. Dr. Thompson has been treating patients for over 18 years, and for many of them, there was no other option if they couldn’t take the allergy shots. Rather than leaving these people to suffer from allergy symptoms and treating them with over the counter medications with no long-​term solution, Texan Allergy was created to offer a convenient, affordable, and safe alternative to allergy shots: allergy drops, our signature treatment.

Business Owner

Austin Allergist, Dr. Christopher Thompson, has practiced medicine in the Austin area for the last 18 years. He has experience in all areas of ear, nose and throat medicine and surgery, but has a particular interest in sinus and allergy treatment. He’s very excited for the future of sublingual (under the tongue) allergy immunotherapy, as he is finding that more patients are able to stay consistent with it.
