Expensive and terrible customer service. Sales rep promised us something Pella actually does NOT make, and when my wife and I saw what they installed, we realized it was not the patio door we wanted and not what the sales rep said we were getting. Instead of hidden Rolscreens, we’re stuck with two ugly sliding screens on the inside of our house. Pella will NOT take back the doors, and we are stuck having spent $ 6K on ugly doors that don’t even work properly. For shame, Pella. Anyone looking at windows/doors in DFW should look at Andersen or another company instead of Pella.

We had Pella in our homes in California, and absolutely love them! We are already pricing out new Pella’s for our new home here in Dallas and the team in grapevine is just so great, they answer all questions you have for everything related to the windows, energy efficiency, etc. We are really looking forward to working with everyone!

We had almost every window and door in the house replaced with Pella windows. The windows are outstanding and while we’re only 3 weeks post-installation, we’re very happy with them so far. The installation process is another story. The installation team made a huge mess — furniture had to be dry cleaned, rugs had to be professionally cleaned(and ultimately 1 needed to be thrown out), dirty handprints on walls, and the whole house had to be cleaned. A MESS! Given Pella’s reputation(and prices!) I expected MUCH better from them. We expected furniture and floors to be covered and the installation team to treat our house with respect. And we had one surprise after another during the process(i.e. Day 1: we’ll need to use your garage as a staging area). My advice: have a discussion with them about expectations well before the install date. Or use someone else. UPDATE: After waiting over 2 months for missing hardware(handles for 2 windows) to be provided to me, I still have not received anything. I was so frustrated with the installation team I did not want them back in my house so I told Pella to send the hardware to me and I would install it myself. I continue to be disappointed in Pella. UPDATE #2: After a year and a half, we still love the windows. We had one minor issue with the hideaway screen to a slider and Pella came out promptly to fix it. Otherwise, the windows have been trouble free and beautiful. Friends who liked our Pella windows, but were scared off by our experience bought Pella through a Big Box store and are happy.
