First visit and we really enjoyed it. I’m always thinking of French food as stuffy and pretentious, but this is a really nicely decorated, French Bistro-feel where you order at the register and it is brought to your table. Dining is divided into small, warmly lit areas that really adds to the experience. I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta which seems to me like the French version of Carbonara. I also got to try the Beef Bourguignon, which was rich and full of flavor. I was pleasantly surprised about the originality and the flavors for a reasonable price and will not hesitate to return.

I love La Madeleine — as long as it is not the Grapevine location. Today was a 20 minute wait for a cold salad to take away. It has been hot or miss for sometime as I will avoid this location until I forget a few months from now and will be reminded when I stop in again.

I like the casual yet cozy atmosphere. We mostly go in the evening. The main reason I go is their paella — it is really delicious with chicken, shrimp, chorizo and spices in it. My son and I focus on that dish and my daughter focuses chicken salad sandwich on croissant. My wife has lot of vegetarian choices — pasta/sandwiches.

La Madeleine has delicious desserts! I love the fruit tarts. The food isn’t bad either. My last encounter at la Madeleine was on a Saturday around 9pm. It wasn’t too busy as they were closing at 10pm. We ordered food to go as well as some desserts. The wait time wasn’t bad. The only bad thing was that one of the cooks would put a sandwich in to cook and while he was waiting he would be on his phone. He did not wash his hands after doing so. Gross. We talked to the manager, Steve, and he told us that he would make us a new sandwich himself. There is an open kitchen concept so we could see him make the food. He made the food and gave us a free dessert! Steve assured us that they would have a meeting with the entire staff to deal with contamination and being on cell phones while working. I hope they did have that meeting. It was nice to know that the manager cared about the customers needs and concerns.

I am a fan of La Madeleine and have been going here for years; however, this particular location has an inconsistency issue. Sometimes they will bring out a well prepared meal and sometimes they will bring out something that looks like it was thrown together in a rush. It appears that this location undergoes many management changes as well, so I’m not sure if that is part of the reason why this location is unpredictable. They also struggle to get your order right. I always watch the register to see if the person taking my order made sure to record the omissions on my sandwich(most of the time they get it right; if they don’t, I repeat my omissions until they get it) and somehow the person preparing the sandwich fails to follow instructions on the receipt. This just goes to show the rush they are in to bring out your food. They bring it pretty quickly, but I’d much rather them slow down and handle the food with more care. That being said, La Madeleine’s food overall isn’t bad. It’s a solid 3 stars. It’s good food, but nothing out of this world. I personally always order the Chicken Parisien sandwich with the pasta salad as my side and a cup of tomato soup. Everything is pretty good when done correctly.

As I entered the restaurant, I was greeted and given the menu. I wanted something unique to the restaurant. Rather than an egg dish cooked to order, I chose the Parisien Eggs Benedict. Finding a free table was very easy considering the parking lot was almost full. Once I got a table, I went to get my coffee. The first minor hurdle I experienced was at the coffee bar. All the caffeinated coffee dispensers were empty. Either a large group of coffee drinkers got theirs moments before I did or no one checked the dispensers for some length of time. It wasn’t easy to flag someone’s attention to replace the dispensers. While I was waiting for my eggs, I busied my time with some sliced French bread and jam which were freely available near the coffee bar. It wasn’t too long before my order arrived. In this version, slices of ham and two strips of bacon were sandwiched between the poached egg and a croissant half. Fortunately, the bacon strips weren’t overly crisp. A major issue I have about bacon at most places. Since I didn’t order any sides, I decided to get dessert. The Bûche de Noël was the appropriate choice for the season. The second minor hurdle occurred when I left my table. Because there was a wait at the register, my table had been cleared by the time I returned. Luckily, my coffee mug wasn’t taken away. Then again, it may have been a good thing as I had an excuse to get a clean fork for my dessert. Although La Madeleine wasn’t my initial choice for breakfast today, it ended up being the best choice.

My favorite Caesar salad on the planet. Also my favorite chicken Caesar salad on the planet! Great French roast coffee, awesome breads, and desserts. Obviously I love this place.

YUMMERS. La Madeline is one of my favorite places to go for just about anything, whether it be pasta, soup, salads, quiches, and of course, dessert! This past time, I decided to get their Chicken Friand covered in a Mushroom Sauce, and I died. It was SO good, way beyond my expectations. I’m a lover of mushrooms, so this was right up my alley. The puff pastry was just the right amount of flakiness but not too thick. It created a perfect shelter for the tender chicken inside. And the mushroom sauce(although may not look appealing) was beyond this world. It complimented perfectly with the texture of the pastry and married together well with the moist chicken. I couldn’t leave without getting one of their desserts either. I got the Mini Fruit Tart, and it was all kinds of delicious. Literally took me 3 bites to finish, but it was the best 3 bites of the entire meal! If you’re gonna go here, do not pass up on their desserts, I don’t care if you’re on a diet! It’s definitely a must. Overall I obviously recommend this place, and it’s quite affordable as well. Not too shabby for some French cuisine!

Had the chicken pesto: sauce light not rich but flavorful. & chicken friand la madeleine: somewhat hard to cut but sauce was rich. Prices decent.

When ordering they had to make sure they had the food we wanted. When we got our food we still had to wait for the rest of our order to be done. Too short staffed and not prepared for customers at 7 am. Kinda amazing!

There was a huge cockroach in the bathroom! I mean, more than two inches long and disgusting. To say that put a damper on my appetite, is an understatement. The people are so nice here and other than my friend’s salad only having two slices of strawberries in it last Thursday, the food has always been up to La Mad par. This building is just super old and probably needs to start over. Because of the cockroach I saw in the ladies bathroom last week, we will not be returning. I will seek romanoff elsewhere.

La Madeleine is the«French» version of Panera. You go up to the counter and order. Someone brings out your food for you at your table. They have a couple«Parisian» specialties as well as baked goods, salads, and sandwhiches. I came for Brunch, but it was more lunchtime, so I had the chicken salad on a croissant with bean soup. It was satisfying. There is free bread by the drinks, so definitely take advantage of that.

What I’m about to relay is true. There exists an airport resturant which serves fresh scrambled eggs on freshly baked crescent rolls that offers free coffee refills! Let me introduce you to La Madeleine adjacent to gate A23 in the Dallas-Fort Worth airport. Unbelievable? It’s real. And get this, they even offer friendly service. Actual smiling people who serve airport food. You’d better go there quickly and enjoy before they figure out that they stand in stark contrast to every other airport food establishment and hire a bunch of sour people who prepare tasteless food.

Over months, quality of service has declined. Today, waited 25mins for my breakfast. If I hadn’t asked, would have been much longer. Kids crêpe arrived with black burned edges — asked for new crêpe but came back 15mins later with burnt edge simply cut off. Won’t be back for a while.

The food is always yummy! I always get the chicken salad which is on a croissant and get 2 sides. The potatoe soup is a really good choice, and I get the Cesar salad which is also yummy. They have bread out for your liking and its a good thing to snack on while you wait :-)

The food, the pastries, and the fruit tarts will always bring me back. I’ve been coming here on DFW area visits since I was a child, and I still love it! They did Panera before Panera was even thought up :).

Great place for coffee/pastries, and to hang out with friends/family or even a meeting. Unlimited refills on coffee… Also their lunch menu is fresh, reasonably priced, and very tasty. Chicken La Madeleine is always very good. It’s not an entirely«French» menu though… pretty Americanized. Lastly, I have reduced a star due to cleanliness – often over 50% of empty tables are un-bussed and cluttered… you have to ask the staff to clear them so you can actually sit!

I like La Madeleine but this time the one in Grapevine disappointed with a much smaller portion than the other LaMadeleine’s I frequent.

This is by no means a 5 star restaurant, but for brunch on a Friday, it’s pretty good. The building is clean, staff is extra friendly, and the pastries are delicious! If you can stand the fake French accents, the dine-in service is alright as well. Some of the dishes we had: Paella(4⁄10), Parisien eggs Benedict(5⁄10) and a mini fresh fruit tart(6⁄10). *As a side note for you cool techlifes out there, this place doesn’t have wifi.

What a wonderful meal we all shared at La Madeline in Grapevine. We were there at the restaurant for a meeting. My wife ordered the Quiche Loraine and a side salad. She said the quiche was wonderful and the perfect temperature. I ordered my favorite, La Madeline’s Cream of Mushroom soup plus a side Caesar salad. The soup is incredible and I always order it when it’s on the menu. To complete our delicious meal, my wife had cheesecake and I have a lemon tart. YUMMY
