Terrible customer service. Zero ethics. This company made a charge to my card without my knowledge, which I didn’t find out about until I called to cancel my order with them. I had given them my card info with the understanding they would call me the next day to let me know the full price with shipping. I was wanting to mail a bottle of wine to a relative as a gift. It was understood my card wouldn’t be charged until I received that phone call and gave them the go-​ahead. Days later I still hadn’t heard from them. Finally, feeling disenchanted and having lost interest in making any purchase, I called to just go ahead and cancel. It was at that point I was informed my card was already charged and the wine shipped out days ago. So, basically this company took advantage of me leaving my card info with them in good faith. After I explained my disappointment with the manager and that I would like to be reimbursed the $ 44 that I never agreed to pay, I was denied. No sense of urgency on her part to rectify the situation whatsoever. I would advise no one trust this company with your card information.

Love the wine tours here. We got a huge education on wines, and saw the wineries, and the grapes on the wines– that is so cool! Then we got to enjoy some wine inside after the beautiful tour. Of course, tasting the wine was the best part! In my opinion compared to other wineries in this area, this place gives less wine in the tasting for the price. However, this is the only one that I have seen that has the tours during your tastings. One star was dropped though because I did make an appointment but we had to wait a while because either they had walk ins and didn’t manage the appointments properly or they overbooked… no point of making an appt if you still have to wait!

Came in on a Tuesday. The tours are only Wednesday-​Sarurday but they offered a us a complimentary glass of wine on the Patio over looking the grapes! They had Great Service and were So Friendly! Will definitely be back for a tour!

Perhaps this is a great place to get married but I’ll never know, because unless you are heterosexual, they are simply not interested in doing business with you. Denise was more than willing to send information and answer questions until she realized that this would be the marriage of two men. Once she met my partner and I, she was rude and brusque, indicating little interest in our ceremony and doing little to hide her disdain for such a non traditional arrangement. We made the decision the following week to book the venue in despite of her unacceptable level of customer service and the response was… well…there was no response. Emails and phone calls went un-​responded to. Do do not do business here. Do not buy their wine. Put them out of business.

I just Run from this place, horrible customer service. Denise was very short and rude. She did not smile and did not answer our q? Accordingly. I had an email from special deal possible 20% less on a venue and she acted like she has no idea but i still have the email. She basically wanted us to leave and not book this venue! Horrible personality for this type of job!

All the previous reviews nailed it. Beautiful vineyard and ambience but horrible wine. Tasting was only 5 choices for $ 10. No substance behind all the aesthetics. Service was friendly but wine still lacking.

POOR customer service.
I was a bridesmaid in a wedding here recently. Gorgeous, beautiful venue. But if you’re looking for stress free accommodating service on your big day (like most brides) RUN. This is not the place for you. The coordinator was very rude before, during, and after the wedding. Unorganized, understaffed, inexcusable customer service. She wouldn’t let the bride put flower pedals she purchased specifically for putting down the aisle like they discussed prior because «it’s too much to clean up». Even if we all cleaned it ourselves !
During food service there wasn’t any water on the tables so after guests wait in line for food they had to go to the drink line where they took orders one by one! What’s the harm in having extra water set up on the bar ?
After they cleared the tables of drinks guests went back to the bar to get another one, where they were aggressively told bring your glass back (but they took my glass), well then I don’t know what to tell you!
What a way to treat your guests who traveled overseas for your wedding.
The coordinator was rude to guests, bride and groom, and even the brides mother !
Threatening to make the bride come back after her send off to settle an extra case of wine that was opened (even though they had her card on file). Unprofessional.
I would get new management ASAP if I owned such a gorgeous venue.

Friendly staff, interesting to tour. Not the best wines I had for the day, I visited five area wineries this day, this was the first. Their sample wines where nothing to write home about.

Beautiful building and vineyard – AWFUL wine.
1) wines for tasting were already pre-​selected so you could not choose which ones you wanted to taste
2) NO red wines included in the tasting???
3) wines tasted cheap and were not good at all
I do not recommend. I have been to the majority of the wineries/​tasting rooms in Grapevine and Fredericksburg, TX and this one is by far the worst.

We just got married at Delaney this past weekend. I wanted to share some of our experiences.
First off, the venue is beautiful. The main room is great, and the layout worked well. However, if you care for customer service at all, I would not recommend this venue. The representative was a terror to work with, once she discovered we had hired someone else to coordinate for us. When our family met with her to discuss general layout and logistics, she was determined to try and prove the Bride’s mother wrong on a detail. Not professional at all. At the end of our rehearsal, it was raining and around 30 outside, and the Delaney rep practically pushed (not literally) the Bride’s sister out the door while holding an 11 month old baby. This was after she explained to the rep that the car was pulling around. Her explanation was that she had a personal appointment. Delaney’s representative had a horrible attitude, overall. Furthermore, if you are planning the wedding during cold weather, they are NOT prepared at all. They will lead you to believe so, but they are not. They say they have big vinyl curtains and heaters to make the crush pad comfortable, but the curtains are perforated sunscreens. They basically create a vented wind tunnel, rendering the heaters practically useless. They also failed to heat the upstairs area where the Bride gets ready. Upon requesting heat, they said they will get to it. It should have been on, knowing there was an event. Additionally, we never received our personalized bottle of wine. To sum this up, good luck discussing any issues with anyone, because said rep is basically the top of the food chain, and they don’t seem to care about hearing poor performance evaluations. Please, do yourself a favor and avoid this place, no matter how nice it may seem. At least until they replace the sales rep.
They have now contacted me and threatened to sue for defamation. I tried to tell the staff about our issues and they ignored me. This is what happens. Funny, how am I supposed to warn others? Like I said before, good luck if you deal with them.

I was married here in September of 2014. There were a few changes in the staff from when I signed all the initial paperwork up until the wedding day. It worked in my favor because it allowed for some flexibility with bringing in my own sparklers, champagne, using their rentals, etc. My wedding day was beautiful & my photos turned out wonderful! Denise was easy to get ahold of & I even met Mr. Delaney during my bridal portraits. I would pick Delaney all over again to get married. My guests all raved about how beautiful it was!

I came here for a bachelorette party. The inside looks ok– a little more lighting can be used. The wine selections were decent. Nothing to rave about in my opinion. I didnt purchase a bottle. The tour lasted less than 30 minutes which is pretty short. The sommel5 pointed out some good facts about the vineyard-​this was the best part about the visit. While our party was seated and sampling 5 wines, we didn’t have a sommelier solely for our party. They juggled other parties as well as ours– which made it difficult and delayed. The place looks good to have a wedding, however I wouldn’t want any of their wine. I can’t say that I will be back. It left a mediocre taste in my mouth.

We went to a wedding at this place and although it was a stunning location the wine tat was served was the worst wine I have ever drank. It is quite expensive as well. The building was very hot, and seemed a little dirty. The bathrooms were not maintained. I actually walked outside to look at the vineyards and a large rat ran across my feet. So ah no I would not recommend this place or it’s wine.

As vineyards go, Delaney is ok. I’ve been to better and I’ve been to worse. I’m sure the drought has a lot to do with the quality of the wine and I can’t fault them for that. But the place itself isn’t what I expected. I think they were trying to go for that «old world» feel but it just looked raggedy to me. I was there for the Grapevine Vineyard Run. The run was great! I bet this place is good for weddings or other gatherings but I honestly can’t say I would book it. The pricing of the wine was a bit over my budget considering the quality. If you are a wine connoisseur, you won’t like it either. I can’t say I will return for anything other than an invitational event.

Vino is decent (love the sweeter, lighter wines here) and it’s just a beautiful vineyard and atmosphere to come and visit. Live music Thursday evening is always a perfect date night choice. They also have races out here! I did a 5K right on the vineyard and there was a wine tasting afterwards. Lots of fun! Great place to bring out of towners or just a romantic evening with your significant other.

Toured the ‘winery’ as part of a three-​part tour. We were promised that this was the only real winery in the area — which only means that they grow their own grapes, process, and bottle their own wine on-​premise.
i think Delaney might have made a nice start, but we’ll see how it fares after decades of experience. He came out of the cotton business (info courtesy of our tour guide).
The wines were mostly blends, which to me, gave them less notable character. Like others noted, stingy pours, and very little information about each wine. We could have just as easily read the same thing on the little slip of paper they provided.
The ‘tasting room’ was a ballroom. This was not set up to facilitate Q&A. The tables were all set with decorated chairs — to seat around 200 people, yet they squished my husband and me into an already-​cramped table — maybe so the ‘guide’ didn’t have to repeat what she was saying yet another time.
There are reviews that state that the staff was friendly. They were not. They were cordial. They ought to consider hiring some overly-​friendly southern drawls to even out the brusqueness of their other staff members.
If you’re looking for a friendly afternoon of sharing wine and good conversation, buy something at the local wine shop and share it in your own backyard. At least you know the company is good.

After calling the same week to confirm we didn’t need a reservation– we were turned away at the front door at 3:00 pm on a Saturday– they said they only have one person working?! They either need to get more help or start taking reservations for parties under 6. We won’t be going back.

Not the most friendly of places. We came for a tasting and were treated like they had better things to do. I do understand that it is a Saturday and they have an event later but we were completely forgotten at the bar waiting to taste some wines. They gave us our first tasting and then completely left the bar.
The tasting room feels like a dark cold dungeon. Would some sunlight be too bad?
Overall a bad experience. I will visit wineries that actually want my business.

I went to this winery/​vineyard about a year ago. The service was wonderful and the wines are pretty good! Definitely plan on going back very soon with friends and family!

Very pretty estate but the wine isn’t that great. They were also very stingy with the pours!!!
