AMC Grapevine Mills 30 with Dine-In Theatres

Seats great and comfy, service great… BUT… They changed the menu and its slim pickens, not great and makes me not want to go there over other theaters w same offerings. The menu used to be great, so really disappointed. But if you are looking for Mac and cheese or a hamburger you are good to go!

Love this place. Always a great experience, and the mall is close to walk and kill time as needed.

Love the concept but the food is really lack luster. Still not a bad place to see a movie, but if you want good food & drinks go to MovieHouse & Eatery down 2499 in Flower Mound

I don’t know what the good reviews are for BUT this place is no good. The sitting area is WAY to small and I’m only 5’5 I could not stretch my legs out! The food is so so. The bathrooms were really nice that’s the only plus the concession stand looked closed down and the theater had a smell to it. Better luck going somewhere else.

I went in to see the new Star Wars at the 3D Imax. Nice big clean modern facility.
The concession stand was the usual fare and of course, way way way over priced. One coke and a bag of popcorn: $ 15. I would give them a lower rating, but this is expected at every theater these days. At some point, some one is bound to realize they could charge less money, give better service, and win over a LOT more customers. Less I digress…
The seats were ok. Plush, clean, but didn’t recline. Sound was incredible, I’ll give them that.
What can I say? It was clean, modern, expensive, everything you’d expect from a modern movie theater.
It does have an «ok» kid friendly mall next to it, if that is your thing.

Do I have to give even a star? Used to prefer this place due to location and I have an amc stubs account. Spent almost $ 100 bucks here to see Star Wars, but lost my appetite when I saw a mouse run across my aisle. Brought it to guest services attention after the movie. «Queen yesenia» was rude af didn’t even apologize. I got 3 vouchers that won’t even cover my imax experience. Writing to corporate office first thing in the morning.

Cinema Suites at AMC Theaters in Grapevine became my favorite date night spot when it opened. Amazingly comfortable, spacious recliners; box like, reserved seating; full menu and adult beverages! However, it seems like each time I go now, it’s more of a disappointment.
I took a friend from out of town on January 2 to see Spotlight. When we arrived, someone was in our reserved seats and it took two different employees to get them to move. When we finally sat down and put in our order it took more than 30 minutes to get a drink. After we got our tab 30 minutes before movie ended, no one ever picked it up. We waited until lights up, service button pushed, theater empty till someone finally picked up the check and ran my credit card. Nothing like going out of your way to wait just to pay!
I was sure that was a one-​time occurrence but apparently not. Flash forward one week… Friday night date, Star Wars 3D. Fun, right? As we walked toward the our theater, we had to pass the kitchen. I had never noticed it before as it’s sort of hidden in the hall but this time there was no missing it! There was a horrible smell coming from it… One that hit you 20 feet away. Let’s just say if you are spending a lot of money to eat at a theater, this is really concerning.
So, these may be small gripes but they really set the tone… The theater was too warm inside. The side of my seat — right where the recliner button is — was dirty. As in slimy, hardened popcorn butter, afraid to touch it again dirty. The menu — at least the wine — is really overpriced. The food is mediocre. (We shared the country style chicken fingers — last time I’ll get it.)
I’m giving this review two stars bc our servers were nice and the movie was awesome.
Apparently there’s a new theater in Flower Mound that’s the same style as AMC’s Cinema Suites but it’s less expensive, clean and hopefully no questionable smells! We’ll probably check it out next time, even though it’s further away. Hopefully AMC will improve soon.

The theater we were in (theater 1) smelled like some took a piss. Idk if it was the mixture of popcorn and food smells, but whatever it was, it was terrible.

This is now a GUN FREE ZONE. Both 30.06 and 30.07 signs posted. There was never any signage before the new year. I used to conceal carry in this theater all the time. Now they posted signs that don’t even allow you to do that. With all the crazies out there, I wouldn’t want personal protection in a dark theater

Love this location to go see movies. I have sat in the fine in side. Which was awesome have someone serve you at your seat in the theater and the opposite side where you bring your snacks with you. Comfy seats all around. Would definitely come back.

Wife and I ordered biscuit bites for a starter. Biscuits were great but the butter was terrible.
Wife and I ordered burgers, I ordered the ranch bacon wife regular burger.
Worst burger I’ve EVER had.
When I say worst, that’s bad. I ate DISD food for years, and give me a gas station burger over these.
Do not order the burger!!!

This is a great concept and the food is pretty good. But they need to consider having more servers to take orders. It always takes forever to be helped.

Nice remodel– but I’m spoiled I guess. I want reclining seats in IMAX! Anything 2 hours of longer and I want the ability to stretch my legs out. They are slinging new foods and alcohol– I usually stick to my popcorn and coke. I like that they have reserved seating and we end up here just because of that. Apparently they do have full recliners and food service in the smaller theaters but I’m there for IMAX.

This is the first time I’ve been to this movie theater so I was excited to check it out. The lazy boy chairs are AWESOME. The staff was attentive and once I pressed my call button the sever came right over. I had an martini, popcorn and the chicken quesadillas. The martini was really good, the popcorn was fresh and the chicken quesadillas were okay. The quesadillas should have been cut a little smaller to make it easier to eat and the cheese was a little too sharp for my liking but that it just a personal preference. The theater was clean and it has a bar in the main lobby, who can complain about that?
Tip: We were sitting in the second to last row and there is a small wall that separates the other rows. I suggest to not sit there because it you are short you will not be able to see the bottom of the screen.

Dine in theaters are supposed to comfort and enhance the movie experience right? This was awful. The wait staff were inconsiderate and lazy. The food order received was wrong, and that we received was cold and tasteless. The waiter took our order never returned to follow up but interrupted the movie to ask us to pass the dirty dishes. Oh gee was walking to the end of the aisle where all dishes conveniently placed too much to ask? And maybe now you could tell me just what happened in my overly priced movie.
Next time, Stay at home or come over to my house and watch in our media room.

While I still enjoy the movie theater, the new/​refreshed menu is not very appetizing. It feels very industrialized/​assembly line, and while I understand the cost-​saving potential of the new menu, the dishes are a little uninspired. Please make some healthier options available if possible.

How much can a place change within 3 months? Sadly, quite a bit.
My last Dinner & Movie night was back in mid-​July. At that time, I enjoyed their old menu. It was on par with dining at any casual dining restaurant.
Sadly, the new menu is what I would expect at a bar. For starters, I ordered the House Fries thinking it would be similar to the Parmesan Truffle Fries from the previous menu. It was far from it. What I got was a dish full of fries with a small section covered with what appeared to be parsley and Parmesan cheese.
After several fries, I decided to pass and eat the entrée. I ordered the Fish & Chips. As I stated previously, the menu is pretty much pub food. It was supposed to be served with cocktail sauce and tarter sauce. The tarter sauce appeared more like honey mustered. As for the beer battered cod, I sadly had better at a pub.
The old menu had desserts such as a brownie sundae. The new one has various milkshakes and donuts with dipping sauce. I got the mocha milkshake which comes with a Chocolate Hazelnut Pirouette cookie split in half. Of the three items ordered, this was the best tasting.
The service deteriorated as much as the food. When I placed the order, I told the waitress the fries would be the starter. In the past, I got to the fries well before the entrée. This time, I got everything served at the same time. I’m glad I didn’t order the dessert until later; otherwise, I may have gotten the milkshake at the same time.
When I ordered the milkshake, I asked the plates to be removed. The waiter said he’d get someone to remove them. When the movie ended, the plates were still there.
When it’s time for the next Dinner & Movie night, I will have to look elsewhere. Fortunately, there are two other venues nearby.

Wow, this is a pretty large theater (or at least much larger than the Tinsletown theater I frequent). Didn’t appreciate the young ticket counter employee who rolled her eyes at me after I advised that she gave me the wrong ticket times, to which she replied she couldn’t change them and I’d have to go through customer service! Such a lack of service!
Anyway, the actual theater was large and spacious and they had more showings available overall. However, the seats were cloth (yuck) and they were way more expensive than Tinsletown. I’ll stick with my regular theater.

Came here to see Jurassic Park 3D. Tickets were kind of pricey. We went to the last showtime of the day. The service is what’d you expect, press the button next to you for food. Lol. They do have a last call, which was around 11:15 and we couldn’t order anything else, which was like 10 minutes into the movie.
I always order the veggie dipper and the crispy chicken tenders. As said in some reviews, the chairs don’t recline all of the way. I think we were in the fork and screen theater and there are some in the cinema suites that recline all of the way.
Will always come back, but there are other dine in theaters popping up that I’d like to try to compare:/)

It’s a nice theater but the cinema suites need work.
My friends and I paid $ 17 for the cinema suites and we picked the farthest row from the screen because those were the only seats left. DO NOT SIT IN THE LAST TWO ROWS. The barrier between each of the rows blocks off half of the bottom screen. Instead of sitting comfortably I had to sit up straight in my recliner. When the movie ended I quickly tried the second to last row and the screen was still blocked off. If you’re going to watch in the cinema suites, pick the third/​middle row. Besides the screen fiasco, service was good, there’s a bar, and food is decent.
If AMC just lifted the screen a couple of feet then everyone in the cinema suites theater would be able to see the screen. Peeved about not being able to see my movie, but I can’t deny that this is a nice theater.
