With 34 years of experience in the HVAC industry, Mark McKee decided to make it his mission to build a company based in integrity that always put the needs of the customer first. Mark started McKee HVAC based upon the core values of Integrity, Professionalism, Service, Quality and Value. These are the standards that guide our every decision.

McKee was introduced to the Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry while working his way through college with a small local HVAC company in Clinton, SC while attending Presbyterian College. Following his graduation from Presbyterian College in 1978, McKee joined one of Atlanta’s largest HVAC companies to develop his skills and learn the business. Continuing to move up within the industry McKee served as technical service manager and training director for Carrier’s Georgia HVAC distributor for 20 years before leaving to become the Vice-​President of a local HVAC firm which eventually led McKee to start his own company, McKee HVAC. Mark provides the kind of customer service you wish everyone would provide. He is friendly, honest, timely, and provides fair options with explanations that anyone can understand. He clearly cares about the quality of his work and wants to find the most economical and longest lasting solution for his customers.
Mark replaced one of our systems after providing some options to repair. It was complete in a very reasonable amount of time and could tell by the neatness of his work that he has the type of attention to detail that we do.
We will no longer use anyone else but Mark for our HVAC needs.

Upstairs A/​C quit blowing cold yesterday. A friend recommended Mark. I called him and he was able to come that afternoon. Diagnosed and fixed the problem in under an hour. What a great experience. Repair was very reasonable and I will be using Mark from now on. Most impressive was his attitude about fairness, quality and professionalism. Grantville is a signficant haul to Atlanta but he has customers all over Atlanta.

Mark is the real deal. Our long time HVAC contractor wanted to replace our system with an entirely new system rather than repair the current system. Of course, this was more profitable than working on the current system. We consulted with Mark. He recommended reengineering the current systems. This took a lot more expertise than simply selling us new HVAC. Mark is honest, experienced, and reliable. We have recommended him to our friends and neighbors. Mark doesn’t advertise. He has built a business on recommendations.

Just as every previous review states, Mark McKee is an extraordinary human and beyond competent AC Contractor/​Installer. Mark walked into a a complete mess in our home left by the previous installer and did nothing less than work his magic. Mark’s years of accomplished experience combined with his open mind and kind nature was more than we could have hoped for. He resolved EVERYTHING with perfection and grace. We will never be able to THANK Mark enough for his ethics, responsibility, professionalism, intelligence, compassion, his meticulous construction is daily remembered and appreciated in our home. Mark was the fourth contractor that showed up at my house. The first (a service call) told me my A/​C compressor was kaput, and I would need a new system. The second and third, were sales people from large Atlanta area HVAC companies, and they just were just there to «move boxes.» Then Mark showed up. He asked questions. He started tinkering and went to work. Three hours later, my 22 year old air conditioner and HVAC is working as efficiently as it probably ever has, and everything is in tip top condition. Total life-​saver. Unlike the first company that showed up at my house, Mark was honest. Unlike the second and third companies, Mark cared enough to make sure that a new unit (that would have cost me $ 8K, btw) was even necessary. It’s comforting to know that I have a competent, honest, professional contractor that I can trust for any future needs, and I’m glad I found Mark.

When Mark came to service my HVAC a number of years ago I decided pretty much on the spot that this was the only guy I wanted working on my HVAC system. He is intelligent, he is articulate, and he is honest.
In the intervening years he only exceeded my initial estimation. Mark’s real talent is explaining complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand and which assures the customer that you are dealing with an honest and ethical businessman.
Mark has now started up his own business and I am more than happy to recommend him to anyone.
