Unilocal reviews were spot on here. Even if you don’t drink, you should visit Wooldridge. If not for their beautiful and serene setting, then for their delicious goat cheese, which they recently started serving for a three cheese tasting.(They don’t have quite enough to sell it yet, unfortunately.) The owner is charming and helpful and we spent a wonderful couple hours there. It’s worth the trip!

What an incredible and peaceful place! The family is warm and inviting. When we showed up after closing time they still invited us to do a tasting! Their kiddos came down and played around us along with their sweet dogs and cats as we sat near their goats and horses! What an idealic place. On top of all that the wine is fantastic! We can’t wait to go back!

Wooldridge is, hands down, the best winery in the Applegate Valley. Our favorites include the Warrick Red and Zin. The sparkling whites are always good, too. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Special events for wine club members include live music and food pairings. Don’t miss this winery if you are in the valley!

Went to about 4 or 5 wineries this day. This place was super cute and their wines were very good. I was more impressed with their whites then I was the reds, which is unusual for me. They allow pets in the tasting room which is fine with me but the people who had their dog in there just let it bark at everything. It was driving us crazy the whole time during our tasting. If you bring your pets please keep them quiet so others can enjoy their experience as well.

My absolute favorite winery in the area! The view is absolutely perfect. The white port is my favorite! The people are friendly, funny, and welcoming. There is a firepit outside, and they sometimes have a live band and food pairing for special events. I try to go here every time I’m in the area.

I LOVED visiting Wooldridge! Their tasting room is not as dramatic as others in the Applegate, but their wines were outstanding and featured a distinct Rhone style. I’m a huge fan of the old vines commonly found in the Grants Pass area, in particular the Cabs and Zinfandels, and they did not disappoint. After meeting Gary and listening to him explain his love for French wines and his wine education(en francais, oui!) I grasped his respect and love for his craft, which clearly showed in the wines. The rest of the staff were really great, I wish I would have had time to sit and enjoy a glass. I’ll be back!

Wooldridge winery is the best in southern Oregon. ALL thier wines are well made. We all have our favorites(mine being reds – especially Warrick red, Pinot noir and of course Cabernet Sauvignon). The point is: many reasons to visit and taste including friendly knowledgable staff, great wines and a great venue. Very highly recommended.

AWESOMEWINE. Greg, Karen, and team are the best. Friendly, unpretentious, and fun… My favorite winery in Southern Oregon. It rivals the best of Napa. I have been coming here several times a year for a number of years and it always on my «to do» list. If you visit only one winery, this is the one.

Great service and wines! Going back to NY with six bottles. Enjoy some great reds on the nice patio. Terry was awesome and even recommended amazing places to stop for my drive down to LA

I have been thinking about the port I barreled tasted more than a year ago and at that time could not justify buying the futures with 6 bottle minimum. But I did go back for one bottle of the port. Now, do I share it or enjoy it all by myself. Since my last review this area is becoming a wine trail

Absolutely love this winery! Had a beautiful day hanging out on their lovely patio, it was like a tonic. Friendly staff, cute little tasting room, just a wonderful experience. Am so lucky to live so close to the slice of heaven that is the Applegate Valley. Definitely will be bringing friends here when they visit!

If you can only visit one winery on your trip to Ashland or Southern Oregon, make it Wooldridge Creek Winery and you won’t be disappointed! My husband and I went there for a tasting on a beautiful Spring day and was blown away by the genuine friendliness, hospitality, and knowledge of the owner and staff. They care about their products and customers and it shows. We met the owner, Ted, and I believe the manager, Mary, and they were just amazing during our visit sharing with us their experiences, training, and knowledge. We were honored to have also met Vino(the vineyard’s dog) and Louis(their very friendly cat). This was by far the friendliest and most memorable tasting we’ve experienced and that says a lot as we’ve been to hundreds in Napa and Sonoma. The vineyard is just beautiful and serene with patio seating surrounded by gorgeous trees and majestic mountains. Their wines are varied and delicious and we happily left with 4 bottles of both reds and whites and an unforgettable tasting experience. If you’re visiting the Ashland area and appreciate good wine, you need to add Wooldridge Creek Winery to your must-do list.

Spent a few days wine tasting in Southern Oregon — I found the winery to be the finest in the region. The wine maker studied in France and we found the wine styles to be high quality and fairly traditional. He also gave us a small impromptu tour whch we though was quite kind. The grounds are also gorgeous! If you only go to one winery in Southern Oregon, make this one it!

Hooray, Wooldridge! We love you! We have been wine club members since 2006 and every few months get a package at our door of lovely wines. Everything about their tasting room invites you to spend some time there, the deep leather chairs by the fireplace, the cushion covered benches near the outdoor firepit and the Adirondack chairs placed so that you can relax and gaze across a valley full of grapes. I have many fond memories of sitting around the fire pit with a glass of red and my good friends. It had been too long since we had a chance to visit and Eric was great updating us on all their new ventures including kegging wine for restaurants(fascinating) all while sipping their newly released port.
