I was very disappointed with Premier Plumbing. I called and set up an appointment with David to come to my home and give me an estimate. I waited ¹¹⁄₂ hours on the day we set up. Then I called to see if there had been a misunderstanding on the time or day. I left a message. I never even
received a return call. I find this very unprofessional.

First let me say that David was a nice enough guy. He also replied to my phone message and email very quickly on Saturday and came out today (Monday) to fix three leaks which were two toilets and an outside hose bib. All the toilets needed were new $ 1.78 (retail) gaskets and each one was changed out in about 2 minutes. So for what I’m guessing was under $ 20 total for parts, and 20 minutes of work (he had to turn off the main water then back on again after switching out the hose bib), I was charged $ 150.00. You do the math.
I’m retired. I don’t have a lot of money for extra things. I rescue dogs and cats galore (German Shepherds and black cats) and spend every extra dollar I have on them. I probably should have gone to Home Depot and bought the parts myself since even if I didn’t realize they were only bad gaskets in the toilets, the entire fill valves I may have replaced just to be sure are only $ 7.48 each.
In any case he went to work right away, I had to ask AFTER the gaskets were installed and he was getting ready to replace the hose bib, just how much money we were talking about and when he said, «For these three things, $ 150.00» I got a giant lump in my throat knowing how much dog and cat food that would buy. And no, I don’t think plumbers should work for free, but I DO think they should be realistic about what they repair and how difficult the job really is.
So, the three stars aren’t because of how fast he came out, or the quality of his work, it’s because I felt taken advantage of.

Our water heater needed to be replaced. I called multiple companies for quotes on a replacement water heater. About three of the very well-​known plumbing companies quoted me a price of no less than $ 2,800 for replacement water heater and to have it brought up to code. I saw that Premier Plumbing had a 5 star rating on Unilocal so I decided to give them a call. I was shocked to get a quote less than half of what all the other companies had quoted me. The water heater Dave used is comprable to what the other companies were going to use. Same warranty, same rating, and same efficiency standard. Dave was able to come out the very next day, which was a Saturday, and have the job completed within just a couple of hours.

We had three toilets replaced, two new sinks installed, and our water heater replaced. Everything works great. The services were prompt, professional, and all you could ask for. The owner has 40+ years of experience, so you are getting a world of experience when you hire Premier.

Expert who does high quality work in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. He’s also a great guy, friendly and service oriented. David has done several jobs on a house in Granite Bay. Every encounter with David is a pleasure. It’s a great feeling to have a plumber you know and trust!

David is the best– I noticed a leak in our hose bib by the garage when we were pulling out to go to the airport on vacation. I called David from my cell from the road and described the problem. He was over there before our flight took off and fixed the problem so would have piece of mind on our trip and I was not even home!

I’d highly recommend David. I called at 2pm on a Saturday, he answered immediately and confirmed he would be there at 3 and provided me an estimate. He showed up promptly, and was extremely professional.
The repair consisted of replacing a shower valve, that I had broken off when trying to replace the cartridge to stop the shower head leaking. I had no clue how he’d fix it, as it involved pipes behind the shower wall.
David explained exactly how he’d go about the repair, and what steps he’d take. This included cutting the drywall behind the shower to access the pipes and replace the valve. This was done extremely neat and clean — he laid plastic down to catch the dust, and when he was finished he buttoned it all up cleanly. Very professional work.
His rates were very competitive and he beat the other estimates I had received. I’d also mention that he’s very personable and the over all experience surpassed my expectations. Professional appearance, excellent work, great attitude, great rate. You can’t go wrong. If I am in need of a plumber again, I’d absolutely call him for the job.

Called David to install a gas line to our fireplace in the front room. This required a connection from the gas line above the kitchen. It turned out to be complicated due to old piping to the stove. David corrected this and did an excellent job. He’s reasonably priced, prompt and thorough. He checked everything and made sure it was safe. He’s also a very pleasant person. It’s the first time I have used Premier Plumbing but now I won’t call anyone else.

We have been using Premier Plumbing for the past 7 years. We have rental properties, so we need a Plumber on a weekly/​monthly basis. We have never been anything but satisfied by their work. Unlike other companies we have used, David always gives us a good price and has never tried to sell us something we don’t need.
Premier Plumbing comes highly recommended by myself and my wife. I would not call anyone else.

Water heater pilot went out and pilot would not remain lit. I tried everything recommended to trouble shoot it — still would not work. I found premier plumbing and called at 6:20 PM. He was at my house at 7:00 PM. We needed a new thermal coupler which he immediately installed. We also had a toilet that had been periodically running — he looked at that as well, diagnosed the problem, and fixed that within 10 minutes. Both problems fixed by 7:45. David — the guy who fixed the problem — super nice guy and reasonably priced. Highest recommendation for a reason. I put him in my phone for future use.

We use Davey for all our plumbing needs — he’s polite, efficient & is a skilled professional. I can’t recommend him enough & we wouldn’t consider using anyone else.

David McAdam is the man. Hands down. He ran and hooked up a new gas line for our outdoor kitchen during a major renovation of our backyard in Granite Bay. David was available for my questions during the planning stages, was always on time, did thorough work, was reasonably priced, and was entertaining on top of it all. There is nothing better than a dependable small business. We’ll be using him for future plumbing needs. Don’t hesitate to call premier plumbing.

I wouldn’t even consider using any other plumber since I’ve found David McAdams at Premier Plumbing. He is honest, courteous, and reasonably priced.
