At one time the best sandwiches in the world now not any better then the chain sandwich spots and you will pay more. So sad, I’m a OG beach House guy and they have went down hill, not saying the food isent good it’s just not up to what we had before the franchise started getting big. It is a fun chill spot if you doesn’t know the awesomeness they once where. The prices wouldn’t be completely out of the world if they made the sandwich that made them famous. I can get by the dirty kitchen and workers caring about the music more the the customer or the food being over priced or the TV set on a talk show or the sandwich having no cheese or the bread being crumbly but when you get all of those at one time it sucks to pay out the ass. I hope Troy gets it.

The sandwiches here are not good. Extremely bland. They remind me of a Blimpie sandwich if you remember Blimpie(are they still around?), or a Subway sandwich before Subway got all of their new sauces and new toppings, but Beach Hut adds more meat(although poor quality meat). You’re probably asking yourself, «If the sandwiches are so bad then why is Kurtis giving the place 4 stars!!!» Great question. Three words: Chill. Vibes. Brah. They’ve got 3 different seating/chilling areas. One is an outside«Tiki Bar». This has cool lounge chairs, a fire pit, and they even had a water bowl out there for our dogs! An awesome place to drink a few beers, listen to the reggae music, and relax. The atmosphere is so good you forget you’re in Granite Bay right next to a parking lot. Another seating area is inside in back of the restaurant. They’ve got a bar with a tv, a pool table, and shuffle board. Another great place to hang out, socialize, and drink a few beers. And lastly, they have the normal seating area as you walk in. Nothing special here except they still have nice reggae music playing. Between the nice«tiki bar» outside and the pool table/bar area, they’ve got an awesome place to drink some pitchers and hang out. The vibes are so good that even though I dislike the sandwiches, Beach Hut is still worthy of 4 stars. I don’t live in Granite Bay anymore, but if I did, I’d be a regular here for the beer and relaxing vibes, and maybe a sandwich if I got hungry.

The original Beach Hut deli is a Granite Bay kid’s favorite nostalgic spot! Check out their walls FULL of photos of staff, friends, customers, parties, families, etc. Everyone is smiling and having a good time. In junior high and high school I used to love coming here for their delicious Marley Nachos and Surfin Bird sandwich. When I turned 21, Hawk Shots were a must! Beach Hut deli is so successful because of the awesome owners, staff, and ambiance. When they added on the second room about 5 years ago(complete with a bar and two pool tables and TVs) I was so impressed. Not only is this a great lunch or pre-lake spot, but now its great to come for after work beers and pool. I highly recommend any Beach Hut Deli location!

I remember when my wife died – In world of Warcraft. I remember not being able to sleep, eat or walk without thinking of her. In this dark period, I needed something to bring some light and that light was in the form of a meatball sandwhich. The way the sauce and cheese blended with the meatballs over a toasted and smooth roll truly helped me get through that dark period of my life. But this beach hut meatball sub that cost more than my last semester of college is up there on the small list of things worse than human genocide. If I could give 0 stars I would. If you feel like paying 20 dollars to have your heart broken and your chips stale, you have found your new lunch spot.

the original, i remember when it was beach house and this was the only location. if you live in granite bay and havent tried this place yet, get on it. been to several now, even took my girlfriends family to the one in orange county and they go there often now. good sandwiches every time. i always go with the surfin bird, who knew that cream cheese was the missing ingrediant in a club sandwich?(apparently troy did). bread is nice and soft, and the ingredients are all fresh. the girls that work there are always nice, and its a great spot to watch football.

This is the first beach hut deli I’ve been to, and it has one of the best staff I’ve experienced. They were really patient and helpful with the selection process, and the resulting Santa Cruz sandwich was delicious

Great atmosphere. The pastrami is awesome. Always a great place for lunch or an after work place to stop for a drink and the outdoor patio on warm nights.

The absolute best beach hut in the state. I’ve been to all. I want to personally thank Danielle, Kurt, and the entire staff here for keeping this tradition alive. Best Sandwiches, for lunch and now breakfast. If you’re looking for lettuce wrapped, or their famous roll bread go here. Something about the original that makes it so good.

Best Sandwich shop ever. Such quality ingredients. Although the sandwiches are pricey, you totally get what you pay for. I can’t finish a whole Sandwich. They have awesome predone styles or option to do what you want. Omg they have cherry coke! This time I had a salami and Canadian ham croissant. Om nom nom! I think croissant is a hidden thing. Just ask. I love the atmosphere of this place(been to one in HB also). Such a laid back surfer vibe. The décor is awesome. I LOVE that they serve your sandwiches on Frisbees. This location has three separate areas. The order area with tables(high tables and booths) with 2 TVs, another room with a pool table and I believe another TV, and the enclosed patio with another TV. Good place to go to watch sports. The patio has an epic mural and surfboard chairs/tables. Would recommend this place to everyone!

All I have to say is Surfing Bird, the sandwich is awesome. I love the fact that the entire place is decked out in surfing attire, it looks like you are sitting near a Santa Cruz beach sandwich shack. I love that they have a VW bus sitting right there in the front of the shop, how cool is that. My wife and I always talk about if we were to move to Hawaii we want to open a sandwich shop and do it like Beach Hut.

I enjoy the freshness of the vegetables on their sandwiches and the bread. No other Deli I know delivers the quality and quanity of BeachHut. There’s enough ingredients on each sandwich for two. I ordered a Surfin Bird oh wow the ingredients together were fantastic! I just have one warning unless you’re really hungry a small sandwich is plenty I could feed three with the large size!

I love beach hut deli! I have been here a couple of times so it was time to leave a review. Unlike some other locations, the staff here has great customer service and knows how to keep a smile on their face to keep customers satisfied. I always order The Woody and ask for no onions. One of the times they forgot, but since they have always been great I just kept it and didn’t want to cause trouble. I definitely recommend this place. The inside looks like a «beach style» and the name basically gives that away. The food is served on frisbees if you plan on eating there, which also ads on to the theme.

I went here with a group of guys, wives, and kids… we basically took up the entire outdoor patio… no one would dare sit in the same room with us! What was great about the area is it was spacious and had two TVs… perfect for families if you get there early enough. We showed up on a Friday night about 5PM. The lines weren’t that long — but the amount of time to make sandwiches is a bit too long. I’d say expect to wait 10 – 15 minutes after ordering. I ordered a large sandwich($ 16.95), a regular sandwich($ 11.95) and a soda. The total was $ 34. The $ 16.95 sandwich is probably a foot long. The sandwiches here are of excellent quality. Very tasty. But they are kind of pricey! And, if you get there after 5:30, plan on waiting 20 – 30 minutes to order… so it isn’t the fastest joint around. It is a great business and terrific food — but I wish the prices were a bit lower and the service times were sped up. They have 1MAYBE2 people making sandwiches. And $ 34 for sandwiches seems a little silly.

I love this particular location because of their patio area which is basically the size of a two car garage, includes the signature surfboard tables and surfboard chairs, a mix of high tops and low tops and a cool fire pit in the middle. It’s dog friendly and their food is excellent! I always recommend any sandwich with BBQ sauce only because their sauce is FIRE and I’ve never tasted anything like it. The shark bite(ham, cheddar, bacon, and cream cheese) is the best and the pig Kahuna(pulled pork, BBQ, cheddar cheese). I do insist on ordering the size small because they make their sandwiches hefty and wholesome(unless you’re a guy and love food, then order the medium) This place is the perfect spot to hang out after the lake or before because of its location and beach vibes and reggae music playing in the background.

I love this place! Most people would think of deli as sandwiches– but Beach Hut has the most amazing salads! They are so close and convenient to my office and all the gals behind the counter are so friendly!
