History

Established in 2001.

Campbell Ear, Nose & Throat was founded in 2001 by Dr. David Campbell, M.D., F.A.C.S. Dr. Campbell has over 27 years experience providing specialty medical care for patients with disorders of the ear, nose and throat. Prior to establishing his own office Dr. Campbell practiced with a larger medical group in the South Bend area for 14 years. His desire to open his own practice was driven by a vision to improve patient care by establishing a smaller, more personal and highly professional environment.

Dr. Campbell earned a B.S. in Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1978, and his M.D. from Nebraska Medical College in 1981. He completed his surgical internship at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa in 1982. Dr. Campbell became board certified in otolaryngology in 1986 after his 4 year residency in Otolaryngology/​Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. He was awarded a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and studied with Professor Dr. Claus Walter in Heiden, Switzerland. Dr. Campbell is currently a member of the American Medical Association, the Indiana State Medical Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Campbell has practiced otolaryngology for over 27 years.
