Build-A-Bear Workshop

The staff here are so nice! I had no idea how much they involve your child creating the bear. My daughter loved it! Definitely worth it.

THIS. PLACE. IS. AMAZING.
I am a child at heart, and this is my playground. Yes. I am twenty-​one years old and obsessed with Build-​A-​Bear. I have purchased at least five or six of these bears, along with accessories and gift certificates.
For those of you that don’t know what it is, here is a quick run down. When you walk in there is a wall filled with unstuffed animal «shells». You pick your animal and color of choice, and take it to the Stuffing Station, where you pack it full of fluff. You also add a small red heart, into that stuffing. You then go to the Dusting Station, and get all the excessive fluff off your new friend’s fur. Your final stop is the Birth Certificate Spot, where you name your animal and get a printed copy of his (or her!) birth cert.
Even for young adults and parents this store holds a certain air of magic that I find intoxicating. If nothing else go in and have a look. I’m sure everyone has someone that’s wants a new special friend.
