History

Established in 1998.

EcoPest Services was established in 1998 by Dr. Esau Formusoh, a K-​State– trained Entomologist. The goal was, and still is, to meet the needs of clients who want an alternative to the use of harsh chemicals to combat pests. EcoPest is a member of the National Pest Managent Association and a recipient of the 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 Angie, s List Supper Service award. We are an A-​rated (based on over 100 reviews) firm on Angie’s List.

Business Owner

Esau Formusoh, owner and operator of EcoPest Services since 1998, holds an MS and a Ph. D degree in Entomology from Kansas Sate University, Manhattan, KS and a BS in Agricultural Sciences from Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois. Esau also holds a certificate in Advanced Level Urban and industrial Integrated Pest Management from Purdue University. He is licensed and insured in Missouri and Kansas for structural pest and termite control. Prior to establishing EcoPest Services, Dr. Formusoh was a Research Associate Entomologist at the Department of Entomology, Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS from 1993 to 1996. After leaving the Entomology department, he will later spend the next two years as a technician/​entomologist with a Manhattan, KS-​based pest control firm.
