History

Established in 2014.

Yarn it & Haberdashery was brought to life by husband and wife duo, Esther and Andrew Hall. Owning a yarn store had been a dream of Esther’s and she firmly announced it to the world during her time on TLC’s Craft Wars with Tori Spelling. Several years later with support from Andrew they were able to open the doors on June 22nd, 2014.

Esther H.

Business Owner

Knitter, crafter, cat lover and video gamer. I also have a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with a focus in Fashion Design and Sculpture from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I studied knitwear in college and started to knit and crochet when I was eight for my barbie dolls. I’m a Native to the Columbus area growing up in Upper Arlington and living in Grandview Heights.

I think community is extremely important, and supporting local businesses and artists. I volunteer with Ohio Art League, Independents Day Festival, Food Truck and Cart Fest, Ohio History Connection, Columbus Crafty Cotillion, and Alternative Fashion Mob

I also teach Continuing & Professional Studies for Fashion at Columbus College of Art and Design and am on the Advisory board for the Gateway Film Center.
