Established in 2008.

Cathy Phillips Starnes started her wardrobe consulting firm, Style Speaks (formerly known as Cathy Phillips Fashion), in 2008. In the years since, she has used her creativity, style and organizational skills to help over 130 women and men in the Washington, DC area improve their lives by improving their wardrobes. Cathy’s passion is building confidence in her clients and promoting a positive body image for all women and men.

Cathy started her career in fashion as a personal shopper and manager at Nordstrom where she learned the ins and outs of styling individual men and women. A student of Nordstrom’s philosophy on customer service, Cathy makes it a priority to take care of each of her clients individually. Cathy’s educational background is in business finance and psychology. She has a BS in Business Finance from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and a MA in Psychology from American University in Washington, DC.
