History
Established in 1991.
Nazareth Hall is a banquet and wedding facility that used to be a Catholic Military boys school built in 1927. Our name is known across Toledo and the surrounding areas as a beautiful historic place to have an event. Not only do we have many weddings and receptions here but we offer our services for many different events. Please continue reading for more information on our rich history before we became one of the area’s most beautiful banquet halls.
The educational history of Nazareth Hall extends from 1928 to 1982. The nuns of the Ursuline Convent of the Sacred Heart, Toledo, Ohio responded to a need for a Catholic boy’s boarding school in Northwest Ohio in the 1920s. In 1926 the nuns purchased 400 acres of land approximately five miles east of Grand Rapids, Ohio, and shortly after arranged for the construction of the building.
