Michigan AIA Firm of Year 2006

Providing Creative, Sustainable Cost-Effective Solutions Specific to Each Client’s Singular Needs

History

Established in 1993.

Integrated Architecture, IA, began as a dream of two graduate students at the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. Four years later, in 1988, Paul H. Dickinson, AIA and Michael C. Corby, AIA, turned that dream into reality by legally incorporating IA in the State of Michigan.

The office quickly grew as talented architects and designers who sought to excel in their craft joined the exceptional, unconventional firm. IA solidified a reputation extending well beyond the Midwest as architects with vision and imagination, capable of handling a wide variety of projects. Less than 20 years after its founding, IA was named the American Institute of Architects Firm of the Year for Michigan.

Sustainable principles have long been integrated into IA’s design philosophy resulting in numerous cost-effective, energy efficient LEED buildings.
