Grand Rapids Tutors is a local company created to serve local students in the Grand Rapids area. No other local company has all certified teachers as tutors. We are proud to serve the Grand Rapids area.

Meet the Business Owner

Troy S.

Business Owner

Troy was born and raised in Northern Michigan. After 5 great years living in Colorado, he decided to come back to the great State of Michigan. He has enjoyed the many opportunities Grand Rapids has offered him and he looks forward to serving the West Michigan community in tutoring and teaching.

Troy is a Certified Teacher in Secondary Mathematics and has coached football in the Denver area for the past 3 years. He enjoys doing anything outdoors as well as spending time with friends and family.
