Our laundry products range from front load washers, top load washers, stackable washers to dryers and pedestals. For home comfort let us assist you with a new air conditioner, dehumidifier or a water softener.

Our home audio and video products include home theater receivers, power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers, speakers and sound bars, DVD players, Blu-​ray players, HDTVs including LCD and LED, headphones and more. To ensure you sleep well we provide mattresses, box springs and foundations, adjustable bases, as well as pillows, mattress covers and mattress protectors. History

Established in 1947.

Decker & sons was founded in 1948 by Marten Decker and now is in the third generation of the Decker family. Grandsons Scott and Todd Ohlman, along with Cousin Dave Decker, continue the tradition. We have evolved from the founding days of selling coal, feed, hay and cement, to our current product lines. Decker & Sons is known for close, personal relationships with our customers, outstanding service and very competitive pricing without the box store mentality. Very good place to get appliances. Good selection and helpful sales team. Scott helped us pick out an entire lineup of appliances for a kitchen remodel. He went out of his way to help us match things up and get the best look and performance for our new kitchen. He even incorporated a floor model to save us a few bucks and threw in an upgrade kit for it to match the same series of appliances across the kitchen.
Highly recommend here over your traditional big box retail center.

Nice local, family-​owned business. The Decker sons pretty much run the place, to be candid they’re maybe not beaming with warmth, but they’re steady types and seem like good guys. They will dicker with price, just be sure to talk to one of the Deckers. I’ve bought appliances for my last 3 homes here, including refrigerators, stoves, washer & dryer, dishwasher, big screen TV. Service is good. The only bad experience I had was with one of their regular salesmen — not sure if he even still works there — he has a very prim appearance — knowing the store will budge on price a bit, I asked him about coming down a bit on the price. He surely knows the store does this, but he looked at me feigning shock, and with a vinegar tone said, «Oh no! We don’t do that!» — acting really quite haughty like how dare I ask (I dare, believe me). I just walked out and went back later and dealt with someone who did deal.

I called Decker Appliance to order a TV and have it installed at my aunt’s home from my home in California. They were very nice on the phone, took my order and delivered the TV on time. They installed the TV AND helped my 90 year old aunt learn the new remote. These guys are angels! Thank you!

I have never fixed anything mechanical in my life, until today. See, the couple busted on my Whirlpool Washer, and I had to replace it.
My project was made much easier because I used Unilocal to find an appliance store in Grand Rapids. Decker’s was the first to pop up because it is closest to my home. Not only did I get the part I needed to fix my washer, Dave spent 20 minutes explaining how to complete the project. He congratulated me for taking on the project and saving myself a lot of money on a service call.
