History

Established in 1929.

Corrigan got its start as an ice delivery service way back in the 1920’s. Yes, back then before refrigeration was commonplace, people relied upon the delivery of blocks of ice for their refrigeration needs. When the Great Depression hit in 1929, Frank «The Chief» Corrigan began using his ice delivery trucks to help those hit hardest by the Depression to move from their homes. This lead The Chief into the moving industry, and with that Corrigan Moving was born. Over the next 80 years The Chief’s commitment to integrity, service, and quality has been passed through the generations. Still today Corrigan is a family owned and operated business, with a half-​dozen Corrigans’ actively involved in the day to day management and operation of the business. A long way from hauling ice, Corrigan has grown into one of the largest and most respected moving companies in the Midwest.
