Established in 1992.
CertaPro Painters is North America’s most referred painting contractor and I, Rob Sligh, am the local owner of CertaPro Painters of Grand Rapids East. I started this business becuase I wanted to bring a level of customer service to the residential painting that is not commonly found. My goal has always been to do great painting work our customers can be proud of while delivering world class customer service.
Based in Grand Rapids East, we have performed thousands of painting projects with that focus in Grand Rapids, Cascade, Forest Hills, Kentwood, Caledonia and Lowell. We’ve painted for your neighbors and friends, and have probably painted a home on your block!

Eric S.
Business Owner
Eric Sattler is a native of Grand Rapids and a graduate of Ottawa Hills High School and Hope College. After a career in consulting followed by a few years working in his family’s tool & die business, he decided to get into the home improvement business. Having hired contractors for his own home in the past, he saw that professionalism was lacking, and there was a great opportunity to offer a higher level of service to customers.
With the established systems developed by CertaPro Painters, Eric has been able to grow a successful local painting business over the past seven years. He finds it very rewarding when satisfied previous customers call for assistance with new projects, and when those same customers refer their friends and neighbors.
