Kwik Lube

Do not come here. I paid 16 bucks for an oil change on groupon. I knew there would be an up charge for synthetic oil but I had to pay 33 bucks on top of that. I barely saved 10 dollars. Synthetic oil usually lasts 5000 miles and they said I’d have to come back after 3000 miles which makes me question what oil they used in my car. They also charged even more for the labor on top of that for no reason. Never seen a place do that for an oil change. This place is horrible. You’re better off going elsewhere.

Staff didn’t even come out when I pulled up. I had to ask another customer who even worked there after standing at the counter for 10 minutes. Ultimately I drove down the street to Auto Care Central which got me in and out in a tight 15.

I love this place. The staff are amazing and don’t pressure me for an upsell. They explain what they are doing and show me exactly why, and I’m treated with the utmost respect each time I walk through the door. They also have a groupon available, which was incredible helpful in defraying the costs of having an engine flush alongside my oil change. I have another groupon for after my next service is due, and I actually look forward to their excellent service without hassle or being talked down to because of my ignorance on car maintenance. Thanks to the staff for all your help!

So I am new to the area and bought a groupon for an oil change. Not only did I have to pay an additional $ 10 on top of my groupon, the mechanics didn’t even check and even out my tire pressure. I’m sorry but after 13 years of drive and oil changes that is a standard service. They did try to sell me a $ 100 fuel injection cleaning. Yeah right like I would let them clean my fuel injector when you can’t event do a proper oil change. Waste of money. Will never return. Save yourself the trouble and don’t bother with coming here. There are 100% negative reviews for a reason.

***SECOND UPDATE****
I thought that I was done with this place, but I was messaged by Rick and he informed me that he was not the owner along with some condescending comments. Which begs the question: what kind of establishment hires such a spiteful and rude employee.
In light of this, I have come to question the integrity of that particular establishment itself. So, regardless of what Rick continues to say to me and regardless of the berating attitude that he continues to throw at me, I wash my hands of this.
Still sticking with 1 star though.
The actual owner needs to up his game.

The below reviews are right. They are too pushy and you will end up paying more even when you have your groupon. The owner I think his name is Mike will try to convince you that something is wrong with your car and charge you $$$$.

Do not go here, just do not go to this shop. I’m not an expert on cars, but I do know about my car and the requirements. Even someone who works for this company suggested I should go to Walmart to get the same oil for the same price. I asked about a leak on my car which I thought wasn’t a bad leak, I believe it was the manager who told me, you need to pay $ 80 for us to check the leak. Then, he told me he would charge me, $ 20 extra for the oil change, from the $ 16 coupon I had. Now, my total bill would of been $ 50! How am I saving with the coupon. This guy was rude and needs to know how to talk to customers. I actually went to Walmart and got my oil change with synthetic for only $ 35! And they also gave me a diagnose on the leak for free. Sometimes I do hate buying groupon coupons! But to receive this kind of customer service is bad!

I’m kind of one of those people who tries a bunch of places out before deciding on a favorite, or a go-​to.
We get the weekly circulars for Grand Prairie and there’s usually always a sheet of coupons to Kwik Lube. I couldn’t beat getting premium oil change for $ 34.95.
As it was, my tiny little compact car takes only the most expensive full synthetic oil on the planet, so my bill would have been $ 68.95. I couldn’t do it, since CarMax is decidedly cheaper at $ 32 for an oil change. My only reason for not doing it at CarMax is that you have to schedule it in advance and it’s hard to get an oil change during work hours and at Kwik Lube I could walk-​in. But I digress.
So I couldn’t get the oil I wanted and I probably won’t be back since I probably do need to go to CarMax, but for those of you who have cars that can benefit from an oil blend or regular oil, this place gives you a good deal. The gentleman who looked at my car was patient, courteous, and the service was super quick. I was in and out in about a half hour!
