The pasta chips and Queso are amazing and a must try. The pepperoni bread was ok for the price, I wouldn’t get it again. At happy hour there are some great drink deals, I tried the Pomegranate grata it was amazing would definitely drink again!!! Had the Lasagna, was underwhelmed for the price plus it was not hot, but you could of fried an egg on the plate it was served on it was so hot. The service was really good or waitress was great. I would like to offer advice to management there that they should have all the wait staff taste items on there menu to assist customers with food choices.

Leaving this horrible restaurant right now! Please dont attempt to eat at this restaurant. The service was horrible, because we weren’t greeted by a server till 20 mins later.

WORST experience at Johnny Carino’s ever. We came here all the time growing up, so we decided to try again while we were in the area. We can never come back now. The service was horrible and the food was nasty. I don’t know if they’re under new ownership now or what, but it’s really bad now. Don’t waste your time or money!

Décor: 4⁄5 –private dining area for private events –seating that’s friendly for large groups of 10+ people Service: 4⁄5 –come before 1 for no wait on Sundays –food comes out at a good rate Food: 2⁄5 –Italian nachos were nothing special, same with the calamari –Seafood medley with shrimp, scallop and calamari was lacking in the protein dept however the spicy marinara was good and you get lots of pasta which will get you full

Visiting from the Washington DC area and drove thirty minutes both ways to get to this restaurant. In my opinion it is the best of the Italian chains nationwide, has good portions, and great prices. Our server Kelly was great; really patient with my friend who had never been before. I started off with the«Sip Flight» Italian Margarita, Bellini, and homemade Sangria. I got a house salad with ranch, my friend had a ceasar, and we both got the potato soup. For the main course my friend ordered the lemon pepper salmon, I had the chicken scallopini, and a spicy chicken and shrimp to go. Then topped it off with a New York cheesecake and the turtle cheesecake in the personal size. Awesome just freakin awesome! .And just in case I’m a bit biased my friend loved it as well!

Unfortunately the food here just isn’t very good. We ate there last night with a group, so we kept our comments private, but frankly both of our entrees should have been returned — they were not good. Chicken fettuccine was cold and the chicken tasted odd. The lemon pepper salmon had a bitter taste to it and the sauce was flavorless. I’ve had this dish at another location and it was pretty good — of course that location is now closed. The salads we had were rather sad — and ordering them was very confusing — does Cesar refer to the kind of salad or the dressing? We never figured that out. Won’t consider giving this place another try and don’t recommend it.

Called this location to ask what time they closed and the woman told me they would close at 10. I come 30 minutes prior(also told her on the phone I was on my way) and the entire restaurant had closed early! Should’ve known by the low star rating this was not the place to go. They need to get better workers who aren’t as lazy to close an entire restaurant early!

Came for the family meal at the suggestion of my best friend. Food was plentiful and we were able to order a variety. When the bread was brought out, no oil was and we had to ask. After asking for the third time I noticed that apparently our waitress was annoyed with us. Food was ok, nothing really mind blowing. Not on the top of my list to come again.

We told our server we were on a time crunch and she jumped to it! Her name was Stacy and she was prompt, efficient and kept our plans in mind and never strayed far. Food was great as usual for all Carino’s we’ve been to. Gave it 4 stars because the table next to us and behind us had issues with their food and we even heard a waiter bellowing to the kitchen«hey the soup is cold!!» as they took the bowl back. Pretty unprofessional but hey, our food and server was great!

I came here with my family today and we were ignored by ALL the wait staff after being seated by the spazzed-out hostess(maybe less Zanax for your shift. lady?). We sat around for 15 minutes until somebody finally asked if we were being helped. We saw other tables being offered bread and we had to ask to get the same treatment, but then we had to get up and get our own plates(HAHAHA, AREYOUKIDDINGME?). After an hour of waiting for our food, most of it was cold and even with a 20% off discount for the terrible service, we will NEVER come back. I hope this place figures out that the people come first and communication goes a long way.

Really great food. Everything I had was surprisingly complex and overall didn’t taste at all like a chain Italian restaurant like I had expected. I highly recommend their Italian sodas! The waitress was kind enough to let me try almost every flavor and it made my trip. Only complaint was my chicken was dry.

Just went yesterday, the service was horrible, we waited for about 45 minutes for our meal but it never came, the server was slow, I asked if we could have our server changed out but the manager insisted that we keep her, she took about 15 minutes to refill our drinks, never in my life have i ever walked out from a restaurant, but that was the worse service EVER our waiter was EXTREMELY lazy

Dined here on a Friday night & this place was pretty busy, but our server did an excellent job! He was so attentive and always accommodated us: D THEYHAVEUNLIMITEDBREAD&SOUP/SALAD FOREVERYENTREEORDER The waiting period for the food wasn’t bad at all because they kept the bread and the unlimited soup/salad coming! I ordered the chicken scallopini and it was delicious! I was too full to eat the entire thing though because I feasted on the soup and bread(hey it was free!) and mmmmm the roasted potato garlic soup was mouth watering: Q____ Long story short, I will be back again soon! :D

Literally just left this place and will never be returning… Service gets 1 star and the good gets 2 stars. Olive Garden has better food than this place… The server was verrrrrry slow… She took forever to just fill water up. it’s very annoying when the food is brought out at different times as well. The food was like warm at best and barely had any flavor. Fix your fake Italian restaurant.

Won’t ever be back after two bad experiences. Slow kitchen with hardly anyone there. Went there 6 mo or so ago with a party of 10. The food was so slow that I actually had to ask for the manager, which I rarely do. We waited 45 mins for our entrees. Saturday afternoon 2:00 and less than ¼ full. Manager gave us a gift certificate(with a 90 day expiration date) which I didn’t use because I just couldn’t make myself go back. Now months later my dad really wanted to try it again for his birthday. I felt badly for him because the same thing happened again. The waitress actually reminded us that the soup and salads were unlimited and we could order more if we wanted because it was taking so long to tide us over. We told her we didn’t want to fill up on that and not have room for our meal, plus we didn’t want to waste our time sitting and waiting. She said that they only keep 1 cook at that time and she always gets blamed for the slow kitchen. I never saw a manager and asked her if there was one there since I never saw one — would think he would be on the line helping cook to get the food out or appeasing customers — but she said she didn’t even think he was there.

A Graduation dinner to remember… My friend had her dinner here we had reservation for about 12 people and when we arrived they didn’t have anything ready we waiting for about 20mins to set the tables and its crazy because nobody was there. We were seated and then had to wait for another 15 – 20 mins before someone came over to take our drink order and as a matter of fact we had to go get someone. Sara was our server she explained to us they were short handed everyone called in. Sara took our drink and appetizers order, Sara returned to inform us they were our of Calamari so we said of that was fine we order something else. We placed our food order and was waiting about 35mins later Sara comes back to say they are out of Lasagna, another 15 mins later Sara came back to say they were out of Salmon. The manager never came over to check on us or to say sorry about the inconvenience. We continue to wait and then Sara came back to say they are out of some kind of sauce. Long story short they were out of everything, but when it came down to paying the manager took care of the food so we only paid for our drinks. We will not be back to this location EVER again. THANKYOUSARAYOUDIDANOUTSTANDINGJOB!!!

My wife and i have been to this location many times. And each time we tell each other that we will not be back and then a few moths go by and we stop in again. On Friday 442014 we arrive and were about to be seated and then told than no tables were clean. This was at 5:30PM with only a few cars in the lot. After waiting for a few we were seated and all seemed well until my wife’s entrée arrived and she could not tell that it was eggplant parm at all. The food was generally tasteless with the exception of my wedge salad. Computers were down so could not scan our card and then could not run CC for payment. After giving our CC for payment it took 29 minutes to receive our card back with the bill. We had asked for a to go box as my wife said the dog could eat the parm(or what was passing for it) And i had to go looking for my own after 10 more minutes. Please get your act together.

Definitely won’t be returning here. Although the service was really friendly and helpful, it was slow despite the fact that the restaurant was maybe ¼ full. The food was generally tasteless, although a good deal. We had half price frozen cocktails for happy hour and discounted appetizers. The food came out very slowly(about ½ hour between appetizers and salad, and then another 20 mins between salad and main course), although it was hot when it was finally served. I had the sizzling skillet or something of the likes, with spaghetti, chicken and marinara sauce. It was tasteless for the most part, and quite oily. My fellow diners had similar opinions about their dishes. Thank goodness for the outlet mall next door which really saved the night!
