We love this place. We go here to get high quality dog food, the stuff you can’t get at petsmart. And it’s not an arm and a leg too which is nice. We also found that they have vaccines so we do home vaccines now(except rabies, a licensed vet has to do that). The guy as recommended how many we needed to buy to properly vaccinate our three cats and dog. It’s been very nice having this feed store in town!

They always have good quality hay for my goats and llama and the price is on par with other sellers. I now use them for my garden starts(tomato, peppers, etc…75 cents), 15 gallon barrels, 55 gallon barrels, garden seeds, livestock supplies, and winter grass seed. They are always friendly and helpful. One guy does have healthy banter with regular customers that may sound off putting(until you realize they have come to know these people). I would say that they have a genuine friendliness with their customers rather than a «service based» friendliness. Basically they don’t have poles stuck up their butts repeating a script. I like them better for that. The guy has banter with me about my llama. Probably thinks some of my projects are weird… maybe even laughs at them. Maybe he thinks I am some strange hippie-redneck mix with a magic llama that farts rainbows(named Dollie). Bottom line is that they are helpful, friendly and their prices are fair(in fact I’m sure I save money going here over spending money driving around to find the cheapest price). I like going to this place and have gotten my mom and a friend going here too. We all like it… and 75 cents for plant starts with a decent selection for a small store(seeds are cheep too).

Wow. Such underwhelming interest and service. I asked about straw bales for a gardening project and was quoted a ludicrous price 25% to 30% higher than other sellers in the area. I also got the impression that the guy was laughing at me. Bad 1st impression.

I’ve been coming here for years, and I love it. I’ve tried other feed stores, but they can’t compare. The chicks have always been healthy(not true of other feed stores), the employees are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, selection decent.(My only wish is that they carried organic feed, but there’s not enough demand to make it work.) They do carry a large selection of organic gardening supplies. The staff is the best part. There’s plenty of good natured ribbing, good advice, and they always carry the feedbags to the car.(Warning: they can spot a soft touch, and if your kids ask for chicks, they aren’t ashamed to egg them on).

I «rented» a bale of hay here for a party. You can buy a bale, and then they buy it back for a few dollars less. Good service and small store that sells bird feed, birds, some vegetables and various garden supplies.
