D&M Leasing

Easiest car «experience» I’ve ever had. I don’t think I’ll ever go to a car dealership again. I worked with Josh Reese. He was prompt and courteous.

I was in the market for a new car a few months ago. I had a co-​worker recommend Brenda and gave me her number. I called, introduced myself and let her know I was looking to get some information on how the process worked. She was extremely helpful and we exchanged a few emails. After about a week I was serious and ready to make the jump to leasing (as I have always bought or financed my cars in the past). That is where the positive experience ended.
I contacted her and asked if I could come in sometime to have my vehicle looked at and give me an estimate on how much they would offer-​seemed put out that I wanted to meet with her in person about the process (but I went anyways). I came in on my lunch break and talked with her. As soon as she found out what my ideal car payment/​price range was (preferably no more than $ 350 a month), she laughed at me. She acted as if it was a waste of her time. I told her to go ahead and pull my credit, then she realized I had very good credit and I told her I would be in touch shortly (all while acting like I was wasting her time). I reached out to her the next day with an email asking her how much a certain car would be and she never even replied. Oddly enough, someone in my family knows the people at Huggins Honda in NRH and I was referred there and got out of there with a brand new car (financed) for less than I would have paid to lease it through D&M. My husband was considering going with this D&M as well until my ordeal. Not only will I probably not lease, if I decide to do it, I will NEVER go with D&M.
Update: Wanted to give an update to the above review. Within 24 hours of posting the above, I got a phone call from the sales manager at that location. He was pleasant and wanted to hear about the experience. He apologized and was going to share my concerns with upper management. He then called back and asked what they could do to make it right but would I be willing to remove the negative review because it could potentially affect all of the sales people at that location.
I appreciated the phone call with the apology and acknowledgment of my concerns and experience, however, I use Unilocal to share my experience and feedback with other people looking for honest reviews, so I felt it necessary to share the whole experience.

I chose this leasing company in 2005 from a car magazine ad. I called and initally they were very helpful. Then once they got my business to lease me 2006 GS 300 Lexus, all attitudes changed! During the 4 years of my lease, I have contact them multiple times to see if I can switch out to lease another car (this was their perk of signing with them is that I can lease another car anytime after one year), no direction or help to assist me. Then at the end of the lease, I found that the VIN# on the car I was driving has not matched to ANY of the contract, banking, dmv registration, and auto insurance. I was driving someone else’s car. Good thing I didn’t get into any legal issues. As I approached D&M about it (since the original contract was with them), they accused me to creat this whole situation because they said I got «gipped» from the contract and called me names! In addition, they were no HELP at all to assist with the VIN# correction! This is the worse decision and worse company I have ever dealt with! DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR ANY AFFILIATIONS! THEY ARE A JOKE AND JUST WANT YOUR MONEY! I wanted to also add that I file a complaint with Better Business Beaurae and still trying to resolve the issue. At one point, BBB stated that this company may not be registered with BBB, even though the home page of D&M stated so. So needless to say, D&M leasing company has lots of untrusted information and I would NOT trust them at all. Pass this msg to anyone that even consider doing business with them! ~distrusted leasing customer!

Not competitive at all. I just received $ 3k more on my trade with
and a better price on the car I purchased. The salespeople will tell you what you «need» to do (ie. what is in their best interests). I purchased a car from them years ago and had a terrible experience with the financing. Last year and this year I shopped around with them and both times found a much better deal elsewhere.

After a dismal experience with AutoFlex, and essentially being told they weren’t able to do any business with me, I decided to look for another leasing company to work with. I had heard the adverts of D&M on the radio, and I decided to check them out. I had a great experience working with Derek Guinn. He was prompt, very transparent with what he could do, and was willing to accommodate my requests at every level. He was thorough and his schedule and flexibility allowed him to be accessible, even on the weekends. I was initially discouraged in working with any leasing company after my initial experience with AutoFlex — however, D&M made it happen, and they were able to work with my budget and with very little money down. More importantly they were able to meet and exceed my goals, which included getting out of a vehicle that had a tremendous amount of negative equity built in to it. Leasing isn’t for everyone, but if you’re looking to do so, I highly recommend D&M and working with someone like Derek. You’re in great hands throughout the entire and painless process.

We only wanted a fair deal from their used car lease returns department in October, a Sienna minivan. That vehicle sold to someone else despite our $ 200 deposit being charged to our Visa card. I ended in a 2014 Caravan lease instead, which was uncomfortable to drive (the driver seat was manual adjust — can you believe it !) and asked on two occasions for help from our salesperson. We were lead to believe the EZ lease allowed us that latitude — wrong. We finally got to the manager level and after getting no satisfaction (they basically lectured us and made us feel somehow at fault for being dissatisfied ! Amazing !) we took a $ 7000 loss (plus the $ 3100 down payment I made) trading out of the Caravan. We gave D&M a third chance to help us again look at a used Expedition, and it was delivered to us for a test drive on an almost empty tank, chips in the windshield, severely worn tires, and a bad interior smell and dog hair. Just a slap in the face, nothing less, was our impression of their customer service. We were told we had to decide quickly (another of their high pressure «We can only hold your deposit for 2 days» type of sales tactics) and we finally declined. 3 strikes D&M, you are out. Don Davis and David Moritz would be appalled.

I had the pleasure of doing business with D&M leasing out of Grand Prairie texas. The gentleman that helped me was Joe Chandler. From first contact to taking possession of my car was 5 days including weekend. I could not be happier with overall transaction. Joe was the most helpful and delivered exactly what he promised. I was floored when he brought car to my house, signed papers and drove away with old car. If you ever bought a car at a new car dealer, you would truly appreciate that part. I am recommending D&M leasing to anyone in the market for a new car, nothing smoother. Thanks Joe!

I looked into leasing with them, when I told the woman that I already had been to a dealer and had numbers she asked me then why did I call them, in a tone that was uncalled for. Horrible attitude, she never gave me a lease price, I think because she couldnt come close to what I had been quoted. She was very accusatory and negative in every way. I got so pissed I had to hang up.
