First off very nice shop and friendly people. I took my car to get my front brake pads changed, I figured I’d pay the extra 40 – 50 bucks because I was to lazy to do it my self. After they looked at my car they said it was going to cost me 285 $ just to change the front pads!!! I was like wtf! I said nvm and went to autozone bought the 24.99 pads spent 30 minutes at home changing them and BOOM! Works great!!!
I have yet to find a honest mechanic this place is so over priced I highly recommend staying away.

Man these guys really impressed me. They don’t give you the run around about your repairs, they tell you what you need, they gave me a ride back home and were willing to pick me up after my repair was done.
In addition, they gave me a two year warranty on the repair and it didn’t take them all day to get the repair done. If you live in the South Grand Prairie area you need to check these guys out if your frustrated with dealerships, Goodyear and Firestone.

I had a horrible experience. Besides their service being too slow and continuing their aggressive up-​sell tactics even after I telling them no; they charged me for the more expensive oil without even asking me for permission or least giving me a notice of what their intentions were. I got the impression they will do whatever it takes to make me purchase more than what I need.
I’m never coming back here again.

This is the best place for all your automobile needs. They are very helpful, friendly, and trustworthy. They get your car in quickly and provide a thorough inspection, oil change, and any other services needed. The technicians provided an honest assessment and didn’t try to add «maintenance» I didn’t need. As a person who knows nothing about cars, I greatly appreciate the dependability and excellent experience at City Garage. Don’t go anywhere else!

Customer service ok, they are friendly and though. Prices are ridiculously high, both parts and labor! I know I got ripped off after checking out the maximum price on parts and labor for a brake booster replacement. Even with my AAA discount, I over paid. The only reason I had them fix it is because I paid $ 100 diagnostic and didn’t want to let $ 100 go down the drain! Even with Marcus saying the $ 100 goes towards the service and getting free windshield wipers because Jimmy failed to tell me I needed them, I still over paid! They gouge the prices at least for me probably because I’m a single woman? They do good work but I can’t afford the champagne and cavier at this five star auto store, I’m a beer and peanuts kind of lady, so after all is said and done, I hope I don’t have to go back because the $ 1103.00, and $ 105 labor an hour (almost $ 1500 total bill) is warranted for two years, and I plan on finding a more reasonable honest mechanic else where, and I was a customer for almost 15 years!

I have been getting my car serviced at City Garage for years and I have never been disappointed.
The folks are very nice and professional.
The place is very neat, clean and organized.
Their prices are reasonable and their technicians are very good.

The people were nice however being a woman going into car places is always hard. This place DEFINATELY Took full advantage of me being a woman not knowing much about cars. Well my car was acting up and would take a while to start if at all so i took it to this place not knowing where else to go. THey ran a diagnostic which was $ 50.00. Come to find out it was the battery. $ 340.00 and 3 hours later, i got my new battery put in my car. They told me that all the batteries were expensive like this and that they were hard or next to impossible to find. All of this was on labor day weekend so i guess they took advantage of the fact a lot of places were closed so i couldnt really do my research. After waiting they lied and told me the reason why it took 3 hours was becuase of traffic. I was stuck up there with my son and my sons father was coming up there and he lived on SAME STREET that the driver was supposedly coming from and got there 10 minutes after calling me to tell me he was on his way with NO TRAFFIC. I am glad i got my car running. These people will never get anymore of my business. They were nice in demeanor but very dishonest. Long story short i was over charged by $ 150.00 oh well… just figured id warn everyone out there to STAY AWAY.

Always willing to explain what’s wrong with the car not just tell you then fix it. I’ve actually learned things about my vehicle now because of them & I’m a woman!
They also have an awesome *GREEN* oil change for I think around $ 35 & it’s good for up to 5,000 miles instead of your average 3,500 mile oil change. By selecting this oil change option, you’re helping improve the conditions on the environment & getting an awesome oil change.
They’re all just a bunch of really great guys that work there :)

I don’t know if any of you have heard what I have to say about Nissan Service centers… I have frequented 3 in the metroplex and they are all horrible! I can’t even get into my last nightmare there! (It took 4 hours to get an oil change after I had dropped it off at 8AM… use your imagination as to how happy I was).
As I was in dire need of an oil change this morning because I am headed on a road trip tomorrow (well, technically the need was just as dire yesterday but I didn’t get around to it), I had to browse online checking for places open on Sundays… not many shops are open on sundays. This is brownie point Number 1 for this place.
Brownie Point Number 2: If you look online, they always have coupons you can print off. They very, but they are always there. So I paid the same cost for the Full Synthetic as I would have for a basic oil change.
This next one warrants 2 Brownie Points all in itself:
They gave me a time estimate of 30 minutes… drumroll… and before the guy had finished typing my information into the system one of the mechanics took it back, and it was finished in… get this… 10 MINUTES!!!
That is how long an oil change should take, it is not some difficult, grueling task. Why don’t I do it myself you ask? My car is pretty low to the ground, so I would have to jack it up, and I have no idea where my drip pan is, not to mention it is to hot to be in the garage for more than 2 minutes for me.
The manager is a very nice and polite gentleman, and had an honesty vibe flowing all over the place.
I say screw Nissan, this is where I am going.
