Service is terrible. Took my mom for the first time and got ignored the whole time. It was quite embarrassing because it’s nothing compared to the other location in Dallas. I love Bistro B but this location is the worst. I recommend going to the Dallas location because it’s 100x better than this one.

I’ve come here 2 – 3 times and it’s always a hit or miss. Service is awful here. The #1 spring roll I love, I order it all the time, this gets to your table quick. This past weekend I came with my family which was 5 of us. We were sat quickly but it took maybe 15 min till they decided to take our order. Wasn’t a big deal cause we’re use to it and we were still exploring the menu. I love that they have lots of choices to choose from. I ordered the lean pork with quail eggs in a clay pot… Which was okay. Muscles were good. Shrimp fried rice average. The fish in bean curd was a little sweet. Everything was average this visit. I will still remain to come here every now and then just because they offer lots of different foods but keep in mind service is bad.

I’ve been coming here for years. Every time I go to Hong Kong market I get a strawberry boba at the quick outside deli part they have. The cha lua? Is super expensive I got one loaf and it was like $ 13! I don’t know the usual cost but that seems super expensive. Maybe 6 years ago I came here almost once a week and got the super bowl phở, I was always able to finish it. I went back recently and got some phở and the broth didn’t taste as full and the noodles were too soft. The quality has definitely gone down. The service was still the same ordinary Asian service, which isn’t bad when your used to it.

This is my 1st time trying Bistro B in Grand Prairie and it gonna be my last time here. I went the one in Dallas before and it way better. The food is way too old, really really bad quality. I ordered noodle, it wasn’t hot when it came out, the noodle is old enough to be so hard and broken to little pieces. The ingredient in there such as squid was so chewy, I felt like I ate plastic, I have to spit it out before I get food poisoning(hope I don’t get it). The service is ok, only come to my table twice: took orders and bring food out then I don’t see him again. Overall, Totally NOTRECOMMEND. Don’t waste your money here.

I don’t know what to make of this place anymore. Have they changed management or cooks? The food quality has been spotty lately and I haven’t returned. The last time I went I ordered Phở and it was really lacking, hardly any fat in my Phở or any flavor. The time before that I ordered Bun Rieu(crab soup), it was disgusting! The fat hadn’t been skimmed off at all and my lips were rather glossy after each bite lol. It also smelled gamey. The reason for the two stars is because I’ve been before and the food was better but as of the last couple of months I don’t know what’s going on with this restaurant. Even the service has declined and I noticed new people working there and behind the counter. The stand outside however is on point! I love their Ice Coffee and Boba Tea, 5STARS for them!

Def not the one in Richardson I use to come here until I found a roach had crawled into my phở. If you order two sandwiches you can get one free but u have to press for it because they do not advertise it on the menu. The egg roll factory next door has great cheap egg rolls and good dumplings. Their mango smoothies are the best! They have a Cool fish tank.

This vietnamese restaurant was good: the food was good, the services was good, and the ambiance was good. I didn’t had phở, but some customers was complaining about how it didn’t taste like phở. FOOD: 4⁄5 SERVICE: 4⁄5 AMBIANCE: 4⁄5

Hidden from the street in a Asian indoor mall is a very good Asian restaurant. Bistro B has a very large and full menu. I have had good meals there every time I dine there. I would not be surprised if there are over 200 different dishes in the menu. For an appetizer, I highly recommend the Vietnamese rice paper spring rolls. There are a few different options from pork and chicken or vegetarian even. They come three or four to a plate so I recommend splitting with another diner in your party. I cannot recommend a main dish since there are too many to choose from and you never know what you may be in the mood for. You have phở or Thai, traditional Chinese or Vietnamese dishes consisting of beef, pork, chicken, seafood or vegetarian. Please give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

I can only say I’m a fan of the egg rolls. They are mostly amazing. I’ve only ever been once and purchased what I’d call a «bad batch.» In going about five times, one out of five is not bad, right? The egg rolls are made there but I’m not able to figure out if they make them themselves or if they come from the frozen section just around the corner of the Hong Kong market Bistro B is located in. I’ve been inside the entire market but also have eaten in the sit down area of Bistro B. That was not a great tasting experience(orange chicken I think it was). I would not recommend eating inside, just get the egg rolls and go!

I use to go to the Bistro in Dallas at least twice a week. I moved to Arlington and went to the Bistro in Grand Prairie. The food is OK, but by far not as good as in Dallas. Specially when it comes to the take out, like the steam buns and the spring rolls. I’m not going back. If I want good Viet food, I’ll drive to Dallas

First off, get the Vietnamese iced coffee from their drink stand on the side… holy moly is it good! It tastes so delicious but is also super strong so be careful. I got the banh xeo and this summer roll wrapped in rice paper as an appetizer while my friend got bo bun hue. Huge menu of Vietnamese and Asian fusion dishes. The food was quite good and the service was good too compared to other Viet restaurants(water always filled, waiters came to check up on us) I would definitely come back for the coffee, because it’s the best Vietnamese coffee I’ve ever tasted!

My first time here, was when my cousins from Kansas came down to visit. I was skeptical at first because they were really hyping up this place, but boy was I wrong. Their prices are amazing for everything you get. Big portions for a very good price. Every time I have gone back I am always bringing my leftovers home. They ordered the Nem Noung Cuon, and my gosh, they were delicious! It was grilled pork loaf spring roll with a crispy eggroll she’ll inside that gave it a delicious crunch! And the sauce was delicious! Complemented the spring roll really well. As for the main course I ordered one of the rice plates, and I was very happy to see that it included the shredded pork as well as an egg loaf, which is actually my favorite part of a rice plate combo. I was very pleased with the quality and flavor. Service was ok. But what do you expect. The food is really worth making a trip out here though. And the have a very extensive menu. So how can you not find something that you will love?

Inexpenisve & good Vietnamese food! I had the Seafood Sizzling Crêpe Served w/Asian Greens and my hubby had the Salt & Pepper Squid and Shirmp. Both dishes were very good. The crêpe was HUGE, so I had leftovers, which were even better the second day when I heated it up in my cast iron skillet. My only complaint about the crêpe is that they use some«fake lobster»(pollock/white fish) in it and that I don’t like that stuff. It would be better to leave that out. Salt & Pepper Squid and Shrimp had a very delicate, but well-seasoned batter on it — I’m guessing rice flour, as opposed to much heavier white flour. Good stuff and the price was right!

Came here for lunch on Friday with the family. We were seated quickly and our server got our drinks. I’m assuming because we came during a time most people are at work, it wasn’t busy at all so the service was great. Since it was lunch hours, the items we ordered were cheaper. We got sesame chicken, ca kho to(vietnamese braised catfish), mongolian beef, and flat noodles. The sesame chicken wasn’t that good. The sesame chicken at most buffets are better. The only person who liked it was my 9 year old brother LOL. But then again, he likes anything. the meat was covered in thick sauce and there was EXTRA sesame seeds sprinkled on the entire dish. The Mongolian beef was OKAY, they were once inch squared pieces of meat with huge chunks of onions/green onions. The flat noodles was nothing special, Kind of dry? and no flavor. the best dish out of the 4 was probably the Ca Kho To. It was too sweet to my taste. I’m so used to Ca Kho being spicy AND sweet. I should have told my mom to make it instead of going out to eat lol. Anyways, there were about 6 – 8 semi thin cut catfish pieces, would have been a little better if they were thicker pieces. Total price of our meal came out to $ 42 not including tip. in my previous times of coming here, I would just recommend the grilled pork spring rolls. You get 4HUGE rolls. I can only eat two and I’m already full. Don’t get the phở. it’s BLAND — Pretty much all you get is a big ass bowl of broth & noodles(the meat is nonexistent lol) I’ve yet to try anything else because I don’t want to be disappointed and blame myself for not just getting a dish I’m used to eating. This restaurant is OK in my opinion. I only came here because my mom wanted to try it out since she’s never been. NOW she knows and will probably never come back. This is not a restaurant that pops into my head when I’m trying to think of a place to eat. When I crave Vietnamese food, Bistro B just doesn’t pull through. There are way too many items on the menu, kind of overbearing.

I would come here if I’m craving ca kho to(vietnamese braised catfish) & Canh chua(catfish vegetable soup) but other than that. I wouldn’t choose to come here if I was craving vietnamese food. The menu is hugeeeee!!! There is seriously everything on there, even family style meal options(on a separate menu). The last time I went there I actually tried something different, I got banh cuon cha lua special and I really liked it! They give you two different kind of cha and of course veggies. My BF got the ban xeo(seafood crêpe) and it was HUGE. Huge in size, but not enough seafood in it. Had more bean sprouts than anything. All in all, the food is decent. It isn’t horrible nor is it delicious. You come to eat to get full. Service is like any other asian place. They drop off your food & you go pay at the counter. The busboy was more attentive than anyone else ever been to us at this place!

A so-so place for Viet food and for a large family to celebrate any occasion. The reason why I said so-so is because although this restaurant has large-enough tables to seat a large family, their services cannot keep up with serving a large amount of food(esp. on Sunday’s lunch). My family and I have stopped dining here after they kept messing up on our orders. Once, they brought another table’s food and placed it on our table without double checking. We were confused and it took a while for the waiters to take away the food. When I do come here, it’s usually during off-peak hours(e.g. in the middle of the afternoon). Their menu is way too overwhelming. I hate looking at the endless food options and not knowing what to eat. I usually end up ordering vermicelli which is pretty decent. The spring rolls are also pretty good and enough to make your stomach satisfied. About their drinks that can be bought to-go, I hate their Thai tea and coconut juice. The Thai tea is really thick, bitter-sweet, and leaves a really bad lingering taste. Their coconut juice is almost impossible to describe. but I can tell you it does not taste like coconut juice. Their iced-coffee is great though! That has enough caffeine to last throughout the day. Overall, I just come here to get my quick fix of Viet food without expecting much.

The food here is decent, though I have had better. Come here for the egg roll, they are delicious! I had the Orange Chicken and my husband had the Mongolian Beef. Both were comparable to what you would get at a run of the mill take-out restaurant. He loves spicy food(and the server agreed to make it very spicy), yet it was mild at best. It had good flavor though. My orange chicken was also very good. Careful, it has a kick to it! Service was extremely fast. It took less than 5 minutes for them to bring the food to the table. On the way out, we grabbed a boba tea… Yuck! We chose the pineapple coconut(it has always been out fav at other restaurants). It was too sweet and had these small jello bites at the bottom. It’s hard to say if I would come back here. It wasn’t bad, but I have had better.

This place is definitely not as good as Bistro B in Richardson. It’s so huge on the inside but is never busy! I do like that they have banh cuon though. Not many phở places I’ve been to have it on the menu. It’s really big though and meant for family style so it could’ve just been my entrée. Phở here isn’t spectacular, I’ve had worse, but I wouldn’t solely come here for it. Bun rue is definitely decent sized but way too oily for my liking. This place is inside the mall where Hong Kong market moved to. There are other food booths right next door that are worth trying than this place. It only gets busy when people buy the egg rolls right by the door! From the inside it looks like it had a lot of potential, but just didn’t live up to the name.

*Overall 3.5 stars* Décor: 3⁄5 –huge dining area with options of booth or table. Booths are cracked though and can be irritating to sit on Service: 3⁄5 –standard service Food: 4⁄5 –We ordered several dishes family style. The beef with quail eggs & shaken beef were almost similar in tenderness and flavor but both good nonetheless. –I’m not sure which fish dish we ordered but I uploaded a photo. The fish was great minus the super sweet sauce. –Seafood hot pot was quite good. Good amount of seasoning and consistency(it didn’t taste watered down).
