Welcome to Simmons Video Productions. We are a full service video production company. Over the past twenty years, Videographer /​Producer, Mike Simmons, has produced a wide variety of videos for the Western Colorado and Eastern Utah television broadcast and cable market. He knows what works and what does not work. Simmons Video Productions can make your next video project a success.

We offer all phases of video production, including pre-​production, scripting, videography, editing, post-​production effects and distribution as well as DVD duplication and authoring. Executive Producer, Mike Simmons, has over 20 years of experience and has produced a wide variety of commercials, promotional videos, training and special events videos. Simmons Video Productions work with a talented group of expert freelancers to provide the highest quality productions.

We shoot in high definition or standard definition, depending on your budget and offer a «Film Like Look» Cinema Package as well.

History

Established in 1995.

Simmons Video Productions is an independent video production company headquartered in Grand Junction, Colorado. The company was founded in August, 2011 by producer Mike Simmons, with the goal of delivering the highest quality video productions while keeping costs low for clients. After working in the television industry for the past 20 years, various experiences were gained as a Creative Services Director, working with some of the top marketing people in the industry. Other experience was gained while freelancing as an audio and video grip for major network television shows such as Dateline, ²⁰⁄₂₀ and various other independent film projects. A large contract with the United States Government.‘s UMTRA Project, in Moab Utah was awarded to Mike Simmons in 2006. This project consisted of documenting a large construction project for the removal of uranium mill tailings from around the Moab, Utah area over a six month time period.

Business Owner

I have worked in the television industry since 1982. Experience was gained over the years by working for all three major television networks on the western slope of Colorado. Even while working as a firefighter /​emt and with Criminal Justice Services, I have been called on to produce videos for documentation as well as for training purposes. I’ve worked in many phases of Creative Services over the years and climbed my way up to a Creative Services Director, with 4 very talented editors and graphics personnel. I feel very fortunate to be able to work in an industry that I love so much.
