I opened Pollux in July 2000 in a 100 square foot space in the back of a vintage clothing store in Grand Junction, Colorado. Since then, we have grown every year and moved locations twice finally landing in our current space at 321 Main St in 2007. Soon after we opened, we expanded to a second location at 433 Main St. Montrose Colorado in 2009. In July 2015, on our 15th year of business, we launched our fully operating online store.

I opened Pollux in July 2000 in a 100 square foot space in the back of a vintage clothing store in Grand Junction, Colorado. Since then, we have grown every year and moved locations twice finally landing in our current space at 321 Main St in 2007. Soon after we opened, we expanded to a second location at 433 Main St. Montrose Colorado in 2009.

I have a love of fashion, design, and making things more beautiful. My favorite part of my business is selecting just the right styles to help my customers look and feel their absolute best. I know life is busy, so getting dressed should be the easiest part of your day. I believe that fashion should be comfortable, stylish, but most of all put a smile on your face.

I am a wife, mother to a fun, 4-​year-​old daughter, and dog mom to a giant Yorkie and a yellow Labrador. I feel so blessed to have a great family and love what I do for a living. Thank you for shopping with us, I really appreciate your business!

This store is awesome. It’s affordable and had lots of great styles for gals in their 20s and 30s. I can honestly say I tried on about half the store. This is a must stop & shop in GJ!

Unique pieces of clothing that are very moderately priced. They get new clothing in on a regular basis, so keep checking back for the original outfit you want. The staff is very helpful and the overall vibe is eclectic and cool. If you want trendy clothing and don’t want to spend a lot of money this is the place to go – just know that it’s affordable because it’s imported () and usually a synthetic fabric.

My favorite, favorite, favorite place to shop in Grand Junction! Ivy, the owner has such a keen eye and taste for fashion, there is always something new and different to purchase. New clothes arrive almost weekly and since it’s a boutique, the clothes are one of a kind!

I LOVE this store! I no longer live in Grand Junction but every time I come to town I stop here and have yet to walk out empty handed. I rarely buy clothes elsewhere! Everything I buy at Pollux receives compliments when I wear it out.
The store itself is always charmingly decorated and a pleasure to shop. Comfy and stylish seating outside the dressing rooms for the men you drag along and TOYS FOR YOUR KIDDOS! They know that moms want to look good too! The staff is always friendly and helpful and I have seen them call their equally fabulous Montrose location to track down items for customers. An absolute must visit in my opinion!

I have family in Grand Junction, and one of the highlights of visiting them is coming to this store. Being from LA, I’m used to fashionable boutiques on every block, but honestly– none really incite thrill in me like Pollux does! I always come home laden with fashionable accessories! Their stock of hats is always my favorite.

I have always loved the styles of clothes I find at Pollux, and the wonderful staff! But, I have 3 or 4 different pieces I have hand washed in cold water, and laid flat to dry. Nothing ever gets the original shape back, and I even had one dress start to unravel at the seams, after one wear. I am terribly disappointed and saddened, as this has the cutest, most original clothes in town. I will definitely pay more attention to the quality of the clothes before I buy, if I ever buy from here again.

Why is a guy reviewing a woman’s clothing store? I have a preteen daughter who I take here, and she loves being treated like a real lady. She’s tall for her age and the sophisticated clothes fit her fine. You won’t find clothes like this anywhere else in Grand Junction, and she loves that, as well as the personal attention.

This store is awesome. There are tons of great clothes and accessories and the prices are very reasonable. The staff was really nice and helpful. Right now there is a holiday tree decorated with tons of cute scarves and hats so that was a creative way to display some products. Super cute store that i plan to visit again the next time i visit GJ.

I live in Denver, but was in Junction for the weekend and had an itch to do some shopping. We were eating across the street at the Dream Café, so we stopped in. This place is ADORABLE! It is one of the few clothing boutiques I have been in that I could afford. The other reviewer put $$$, but… comparatively, it’s not.
I got necklace (most jewelry is around $ 15-​$ 25) and a trendy, hooded sweatshirt dress that was about $ 20. I can hardly shop at Forever 21 for those prices!
They had everything from accessories, purses, leggings, to dresses, blouses, jeans (that looked designer and were only $ 42!)
I would DEFINITELY recommend this store. I could use one in Denver ;)

This is pretty much the only place in junction to find «original» woman’s clothing, unless you are a used clothing hound. As per usual when it comes to Boutiques, they are a little on the pricey side, but hey, you get what you pay for. They do boast a GREAT selection of jewelry, most of which is really reasonably priced. For those who are in the market for a new handbag, they carry those as well.
If anything, it’s a fun shop to stop into when downtown. But, if you’re looking to get a gal a less run-​of-​the-​mill, «Target» kind of thing, this is definitely the place to go.
