We are the only full service, indoor dog training facility in Grand Junction. You won’t find any other distractions at our facility such as boarding, grooming or retail. We are 100% focused on you and your dog. We offer everything from STAR Puppy classes to Manners classes for dog and puppies of all ages. We offer everything from basic pet classes to competitive obedience, rally and conformation classes. We also offer CGC (Canine Good Citizen) testing and therapy dog testing.

History

Established in 2014.

I began training in 1990. I would hold classes in evenings on weekends after working at my regular job. In 2014 I realized my dream of opening up a full service dog training facility here in the Grand Valley. I got started training when I bought my first Rottweiler. It was very apparent to me from the first day I brought her home that she was smarter and better equipped to understand me than I was in understanding her. There were very few resources for training at that time. Since that first dog I have been trying to help owners and their dogs learn, grow and better understand each other.

I have been training in the Grand Valley for over 25 years. I started when I got my first Rottweiler puppy and knew right away I had adopted a dog that was smarter than I was. She understood more English than I understood «dog». I was in big trouble. I had no idea where to start and there weren’t as many resources as there are now. She and I bumbled our way through classes. Between the 2 of us we managed to help other dog owners who were also struggling. She was a special dog who taught me so much. Her biggest lesson? If you have a good relationship with your dog, the «tricks» will come.
