Love their sandwiches. I know it’s a pizza place but the way they do their subs is sooooo good. They put together a good salad too!

While waiting for our meal, the smell of baking bread was driving us crazy. Being located in a bowling alley was preyy strange. But the sandwiches are just like they were when the shop was located on 12th Street years ago. Two thumbs up for Papa Kelseys!

normally I love this place. However, the last time I was in they were out of everything and extremely rude to us. It took almost 35 minutes to make two sandwiches with what meat products they weren’t out of. While I was waiting for my food the phone was ringing and an employee had told the other girl working that they will not do anymore deliveries due to them being an hour behind and next time just don’t answer the phone.

The new owners must be high! I’ve loved their sandwiches since they were on 12th street, but today will be my last trip to Papa Kelsey’s. Their prices have gone thru the roof. They may in fact be the most expensive sandwiches in town. The average whole sub is around $ 11. The italian supreme, my personal favorite, is now $ 14.25! I just can’t bring myself to pay $ 27 dollars for two sandwiches at a place with counter service. Should you be tempted to try«The executioner» sandwich it’ll run you $ 16.75. Even just a ham and turkey will set you back $ 13. Pair that with the inconvenience of their location, their sloppy staff, and I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing them close their doors soon.

Ridiculous that someone gave PK’s 1 star with a three sentence review. Sounds either like a crybaby that didn’t get their way, or, someone with a personal vendetta against the establishment. My wife, daughter and I heard that PK’s had student/military discounts, so, we decided to give it a shot. The place was clean, the service was swift and friendly, and the food was delicious! I ordered a Hawaiian-themed sandwich(I don’t remember what it’s called), but, it was incredibly delicious. I strongly recommend PK’s.

i have to disagree with the other review as this place to me has always smelled wonderful, mostly like bread since they bake their own(and its awesome)! i’ve been a fan since it was at a different location and there was a Fred involved. i haven’t tried a lot of menu items because i can’t get past the veggie sub. i’m not a vegetarian but this sandwich does it for me. i recently got some of the daily deal coupons and am looking forward to going again soon.
