Only bad things to say about mesa mall are that for one a couple intersections around it are very dangerous and I work across the street and see an accident every day at the one behind best buy and in front of the carmike theater. The second problem is there is no arcade or anything in there anymore as entertainment it’s just shops a food court and one little padded toddler area. Need a Dave and busters kind of place in there to drive in the foot traffic

Nice to have a mall in Grand Junction. Has a nice selection of big and small stores to choose from. Alden C is right — no dying mall syndrome here! Seems to be quite active. AND — there is a food court. That is something that really makes my day. Nice selection of food stalls, too. I have nothing bad to say!

Recently bought a present there and had to return it. The salesperson who greeted me saw the Zumiez bag in my hand and said in a challenging tone«what’s wrong.» I said that I simply didn’t think the present was right for the person I bought it for and needed to return it. She curtly said, «well, jump in line.» Whereupon she and another clerk went back to arranging merchandise while I stood in a line at the cash register for the only person working the counter. I consider that not customer-focused service. The redeeming factor was the person at the cash register(when finally it was my turn) was extremely friendly and helpful and the return was then handled cheerfully. Otherwise I’d be giving the store 2 or even 1 star.

Yes, this is a small town mall. It has Sears, JCPenney, Herberger’s(never even heard of them before moving here), Target but it DOES boast a Cabelas. Not many places can do that.

The Mesa Mall was a breath of fresh air of sorts and took me back to the heyday of malls of yesteryear. This particular mall does not seem to be suffering from the dying mall syndrome which is nice. There were very little vacancies, lots of stores and lots of shoppers. I liked the Zumiez store and Steven liked the Hallmark store at this mall.
