The owner, Craig Wieland, purchased the business in January of 2014 and has been with the company since its inception in 2008. Craig has extensive knowledge in Mercedes Benz, Sprinters, BMW, and other imports. Craig has two mechanics trained on the most current and advanced computer diagnostics equipment with specialties in Subaru, performance 4x4s, and domestic models. Your satisfaction is our priority!

Established in 2008.
Craig Wieland purchased Mac Daddy Motorworx on January 1, 2014. Craig was the lead technician since the company’s inception in 2008. Craig brings an extensive knowledge of import vehicles thanks to his work as lead technician for an independent Mercedes Benz shop in California. He is also a trained Subaru mechanic. Craig’s goal is to make your car repair experience a positive one putting honesty and integrity first.

Before Craig graduated high school, he had his sights set on automotive technology as his chosen profession. Throughout high school he worked as an automotive machinist for Marino’s Automotive Machine Shop in Santa Cruz, California. After high school, Craig received his technical education from Deanza College of Automotive Technology in Santa Clara, California. Throughout college and after graduation, Craig worked for Circle Star Motors, an independent Mercedes Repair Shop. Craig moved to Grand Junction in 2004 and worked for WestStar Aviation as Line Technician. He returned to automotive repair at Grand Junction Subaru until he was hired as Lead Technician for Mac Daddy Motorworx in 2008. Craig’s dream of owning his own business came true in January of 2014 when he purchased Mac Daddy Motorworx. Craig brings a refreshing personality and style to automotive repair in the Grand Valley, as he is honest, prompt, trustworthy, and easy to work with.
