Fisher’s has a nice selection of fresh meat & seafood. They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. There was only one time I was not satisfied with what I purchased (some jumbo shrimp), so they immediately exchanged them for me. They are also able to get more hard to find items with some notice.
The best aspect of Fisher’s is their employee China. She is amazing! She is so patient (my mom, think little asian lady, with a hundred questions and wanting to see/​smell everything before she buys it), so helpful, and friendly! Make sure you ask for China if you need any help while shopping there!

Fisher’s is my hands down favorite food store in town. They have a nice selection of quality meats and seafood along with a changing selection of things like pot pies and twice baked potatoes. Special orders are accepted too.
The staff is always friendly and attentive.

The meats really look good and the variety was excellent.
The specialty items in the grocery area were items and brands I hadn’t expected to see in Grand Junction. So I know where I will be shopping for any special meals and holidays.

Keep it local! Great selection of local meats, specialty jams, sauces and condiments. Great selection of gluten-​free products as well! The staff is always helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. We’re lucky to have Fisher’s close by!

Depending on what time of year it is, most of the meat is frozen or previously frozen, yet they charge fresh meat market prices. I just picked up some spare ribs and both racks have freezer burn on them. They advertise fresh turkeys for thanksgiving, but the turkey I bought last year was still frozen when I picked it up. They do offer a wide variety of quality dry goods, and fish (previously frozen) but everything is super expensive compared to what I would pay on Amazon with free 2-​day shipping. I’ll still shop here in an effort to support the local guys, but it’s disappointing knowing that most of my meat is or was previously frozen and that I’m paying 50−100% markup on other items.

Great food, great prices. We stumbled on this during our search for a liquor store before getting into Utah, as it was right next door to the Liquor Barn. Their sandwiches were fresh and delicious, possibly the best smoked chicken salad I’ve ever had. Caprese salad as a side, wonderful. Then we found out they make their own beef jerky… holy crap batman. I can definitely say that was the best beef jerky I can remember eating, and it was VERY reasonably priced.
I highly recommend stopping in here on your travel’s through Grand Junction!
