I had never been to a Carl’s Jr, so I woke up that fateful day and decided that was about to change.(Based on a true story) I got the El Diablo burger. It had me sweating, in a good way, kinda like when you’re excited and nervous for a first date, and then your date is actually a third pound burger laden with jalapeños, jalapeño poppers, chipotle sauce, and other flaming toppings. It tasted pretty fresh for a fast food burger, and all the fixin’s combined created a unique, spicy experience. Good fries, friendly service, and clean restaurant. Had to wait quite a while though, which seemed odd as I was one of two people here, but maybe that makes sense. They had to make things just for me. And that other guy, I guess.

Love Carls, Jr anywhere. This one was particularly great. Table service(order at the counter and they bring it out to you!)! The lady at the counter gave us the senior discount without asking! And the drink selection is fun(I had strawberry Fanta — a blast from the past). I had the Big Star and my husband had the Mile High bacon burger. Both big hits. Lots of leaf lettuce and sliced onion to top off the nicely char grilled burger. I am a fan!

Yes, it is fast good and worthy of 5 stars! I prefer Carl’s JR to any other fast food place. Best biscuits! I’m from the South and I know a great biscuit! Love the chicken tenders… they remind me of the ones at Chili’s. I always get the fried zucchini instead of fries. They have dill in the breading that goes perfect with the ranch dip!
