There are different types of «representation» that may be offered by other real estate companies. However, at back to basics Realty we believe that it is not typically possible to effectively facilitate a transaction without representing one of the parties involved. This would make the other party a customer instead of a client. We would then recommend that the other party gain representation for themselves as well, as that would be in their best interest. Yes, we could make more money by simply facilitating transactions and not representing either party involved. However, we feel that building a reputation of integrity, honesty, good business dealings, and sound moral judgments is more important than making a larger paycheck.
History
Established in 2006.
Established in 2006 by Brenda Case, Back To Basics Realty was a vision of hers for a long time. Having worked for large corporate real estate companies, in a number of capacities including management and training, she saw the need to represent each individual and how very important it is to explain the details of the transaction to each person involved. As with any discipline, sometimes, it can be easy to forget that we may speak a different language when we are amongst our peers. We need to remember that everybody is not well-versed in real estate vernacular.

I also spent a number of years as a young (and then older) adult in the Denver area, before returning to Grand Junction in 2005.
I obtained my Real Estate license in 1995 and went to work for a nationally known company in 1996, where I trained and quickly became successful in my new career. My success was driven by a lot of hard work and a commitment to treat each and every client with dignity and respect; most of those «clients» are now friends. In 1998, I was recruited by another nationally known company and spent the next seven years with tha
