History
Established in 2011.
The long awaited opportunity to own an antique store presented itself in 2011. We were able to take over a small antique store from a retiring couple. We gave the store a facelift and added a larger variety of new inventory. Our experience with numerous business models has helped us to establish A Robin’s Nest. We created a recognizable brand and a vendor system with thousands of customers from around the globe. We have reinvested profits into A Robin’s Nest and have built a large surplus of inventory. Right now we are only able to accommodate 28 vendors. We have a waiting list of antique dealers wanting to rent space from us. Expansion is the next step.
Historic Downtown Grand Junction, Colorado is currently home to A Robin’s Nest of Antiques & Treasures. We are located at 558 Main Street. Being on this scenic street and hub of Grand Junction’s community activities is essential to our success.
If you cannot make it to Grand Junction, check out our eBay store.
Meet the Business Owner
Robin A.
Business Owner
We are Shane and Robin Allerheiligen and we have been married for over 23 years. We have owned 18 different businesses. Some of these were successful and others were not, but we learned something from every one of them. One of the best things we have learned is that we work very well together.
Early on in our marriage we moved around from Gallup, New Mexico to Flagstaff and then to Phoenix, Arizona, next it was Broomfield, Colorado. Finally, we were able to return to where our hearts and family resided, in our hometown of Grand Junction, Colorado. We have raised our family here since 2002 and we never want to live anywhere else.
