Nancy Fairbanks created Fairbanks Pottery Studio with 2 goals: creating clay pieces that make people smile and spreading love and appreciate of art.

Nancy adds detail and character to every handmade piece, so the one you choose will be uniquely yours — nobody else in the world will have an identical work of art.

Fairbanks Pottery Studio is committed to providing quality stoneware pieces that are beautiful and safe for your family. Our functional pieces are made with lead-​free stoneware and glazes and fired to the appropriate temperatures to make them safe for all foods.

Fairbanks Pottery Studio is and always will be an independent family-​run business. Nancy Fairbanks is the only artist and she makes every piece by hand. Her work is unique and creative. You can never know what you will find on her shelves!

Nancy Fairbanks is Fairbanks Pottery Studio’s owner, manager, and only artist.

She has been a professional potter for over 20 years. Nancy teaches pottery classes ranging from hand building to wheel throwing for students of all ages. She is also an Artist In Residence at schools grades k-​college. Nancy exhibits at art shows and galleries across the Midwest and has pieces throughout the USA as well as well as many countries across the world. Her pottery is whimsical, functional and playful. Popular product lines include leaf pieces, colorful functional pottery, animals, monsters, people, and all kinds of sculpture.
